N'rit-na Halkrath (Dancing Shadow)

Post by Crab_Spider » 25 Oct 2016, 19:05

Byond ID: Dninja2010

Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here):
John Rhodes (predominantly a Xeno player)

Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name):
N'rit-na Halkrath (Dancing Shadow)

Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor?
Absolutely

Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background):
N'rit-na Halkrath , like the other unblooded, had no name or clan, just an interest in hunting, but unlike the others, he loves to be the one throwing a show for the very prey he is going to kill. His initiation for his first hunt had the same formula as the rest; the most intriguing target is the best target, once the trap is set, the best they can do is fight back. The darkness worked to his very benefit because it never mattered where he was, because once his prey saw him, the shadow in front of them is no longer their own, and neither will their head. Plans were N'rit-na Halkrath's forte, and the fact they never failed gave his formula an even sweeter upgrade. Caution was an acquitence to N'rit-na Halkrath and when Death was there to judge the dance of the prey, Caution partnered with N'rit-na Halkrath and they outclassed it with any advantage needed. His signature cloaking device. A visor. Wristblades. A plasmacaster. A medicomp. And to just make everything all the sweeter, a smartdisk.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?
I intend to be a driving force between the Marines and Xenomorphs, leading both parties into their battle for purpose of picking off any stragglers that have refused to partake in this battle for no reason other than personal desires. I'll be wandering around the map while cloaked, catching the attention of anyone who notices and if anyone decides to follow, they'll be in for a surprise.

Why should we whitelist you?
Due to Marines running to the river on first deployment and attempting to cross it, I want to give a reason behind why the Marines are doing so. Players that run off from their group not only put a strain on their group but people that are more deserving of the supplies they have willfully wasted. I want to maintain the immersion all the while leading the Marines and they're soon to be enemies to their deaths, by cutting off the possibly few individuals from the battlefield to make room for a soldier of greater skill. In short, I want to make the round short and sweet, while also giving the CM haters a quick lesson in why our server isn't SS13.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
No. I have been job-banned from MP recently, but not a direct removal from the server.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No, I do not play on other servers.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
Yes, the rules are the rules.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Bland story, short. I've seen you ingame a few times, never seen you RP. The playstyle is slightly intuitive but, I'm afraid I have to give a -1

Going with a HEAVY -1, the reason you stated for How I intend to play and as well as the Why we should white list part got to me. From my understanding you are basically going to act like a balancing factor purposely leading a faction either marine or xeno as well as murdering boning I did notice you say and I quote "want to make the round short and sweet, while also giving the CM haters a quick lesson in why our server isn't SS13.", this is quite a turn off for me. As well as this you stated this " I want to maintain the immersion all the while leading the Marines and they're soon to be enemies to their deaths, by cutting off the possibly few individuals from the battlefield to make room for a soldier of greater skill." sounds like you will just murder things like crazy and basically side with a faction purposely. As a predator to clarify we AREN'T A BALANCING FACTOR for any side or acting for any faction for a predator hunts on its own or with other predator hunting party for the Predator decides what deems worthy to hunt down . Anyhow lore wise or how you intend to play it seems more marine biased as well as doesn't make any sense, Predator leading marines to battle, that's not their purpose. This is all I have to say for now.
"Young Carrier (920) (follow) hisses, "Shut up both of you or we aren't going to invade disneyland."

Long time ago, I, Ka'Torag-na Halkrath, Skilled Master Hunter Of Prey, Unleashed an unspeakable evil upon Xenos and Humans! But a foolish Xeno Hunter wielder of robustness stepped forth and opposed me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore a gate of Salt of Solitude and flung em into the world of CM, and took out their Facehugger Capabilities! Now, this Xeno Fool seeks to return the favour, and undo my evil reign and of many other predator predecessors!

For once, I'll just be the guy that agrees with everyone else and leaves it at that, the application is immensely flawed.

It doesn't entirely stand out and your reasons are quite bland if nonetheless. Yes CM isn't SS13, but you don't need to remind them by having a predator role for that.

All in all, I'm sticking with the rest, I'll give you a -1 since your application was not on par with the rest of the applicants that we've received thus far, especially since preds are starting to grow populated in the whitelist.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.
