Naruto Game on Roll20

Post by Marcus Jackson » 26 Jun 2017, 13:24

This game is going to focus a little bit more on being a ninja rather than spamming fireballs and lightning-gods every five minutes. Tactics, tricks, equipment, and teamwork will be huge deciding factors in your survival, and the actions you do or don't take will drastically change the Naruto story in response to you and your team's idea's morals, success, and failures.

Ok, so if I can't get anyone to GM, I've got a decent story line for us to follow.

If anyone has any questions let me know.

We just had a person leave pretty much for no reason and with no warning, so now we have another open seat that can be filled.

To any of you that don't want to make your character from scratch, we have 4 already leveled and equipped characters set up for you guys that kinda need to be filled, so just click the link and follow the format.

For those of you that don't have Roll20, just sign up already, the damn thing is free.

Game ended awhile ago, but if you'd like to play D&D 5E we've got an open spot.

What are the requirements for a game like this? (Hardware, Knowledge, Voice Chat, etc) Never tried it before and your posts make me curious.

Its not a very hard thing to do, its like a turn based kinda thing where you roll for your abilities and stuff kinda like DnD. Or atleast that was my experience with it

Roll20 is a free site that basically acts like "Tabletop Simulator" but it doesn't cost 40 bucks.

You can find other players, find groups of players (some going upwards of 100+ people) and all sorts of games. And in many instances the site has a compendium of free-to-download PDFs for any such rules or extra materials/expansions that you may require.

Roll20 has it's own internal voice chat, though I personally prefer Discord or Skype.

As for any personal requirements, usually games that encourage, or at least openly allow Mature-Content (18 and upward stuff) will have a cutoff for age, and with how shitty kids and teenagers are can you blame them? Not only this but you should ALWAYS make sure you can make any of the possible days or times that the creator of the game sets BEFORE you make an "Application" (basically just saying: "Hey, I'd like to play, here's some basic facts about me.") so as to avoid the disappointment/anger when the other players and Game-Master are ready to go... and you tell them that you aren't able to play today, or any other day for that matter.

As for knowledge, there's a fancy little "Only find games that accepts new players" option in it's search-tab, so don't worry too much about having a bunch of neckbeards or little kids screaming bloody-murder because you didn't know something... or at least they shouldn't do that if their game welcomes new players.

If you are interested in learning more about Roll20, or D&D, simply click here, make an account if you don't already have one, and post an application: viewtopic.php?f=129&t=15431&p=168505#p168505
