got it for free on Xbox with games with gold, seemed kind of fun at times but I hate the fact you can't just play with bots (at least not from what I've seen, bar when someone leaves) but I wouldn't pay full price for it. Some of the missions can be pretty unfair at times (like that Summoning one, where rat ogres will just punch you off the side of the map) and you can get loot for classes you aren't playing (just a little nit-pick would be nice if they limited loot to only the class you were playing). I can see the LFD influence in it extremely easily, and the special enemies occur a tad bit too much (those fucking storm vermin patrols, where only 2 of the characters can deal with effectively, only if they have a 2 handed weapon) and are way too fast to deal with, leading to getting ganked and even wiped for no point.

I have this game, it's not bad...except I have mine on steam...reminiscent of left 4 dead. I love it. but with melee and magic/arrows/flintlock firearms.

I just bought V2 and I am having a good time with it, it seems a lot of the faults from the first one have been addressed. However, I can't say for sure since I never played the first one.

I never play Vermintide, I just can't seem to motivate myself enough for it...oh well.
