Another journey begins, to rebuild the town, the heritage. To strike the darkness from where it started. Do you think you're brave enough? Do you think you can do it? Will you survive the onslaught of terror, stress and disgusting beasts or the Siren's call? Will you submit to the wills of the necromancer or die by the hands of the Pig Prince? We will see.. once you have chosen your class and have signed the contract.

The Classes of the desperate for gold and glory..:

Abomination: Tortured and reclusive... this man is more dangerous than he seems...
Antiquarin: She searches where others will not go... and sees what others will not see.
Arbalest: Shoot, bandage and pillage: the dancing steps of war.
Bounty Hunter: The thrill of the hunt... The promise of payment...
Crusader: A mighty sword-hand anchored by a holy purpose. A zealous warrior.
Grave Robber: To those with the keen eye, gold gleams like a dagger's point.
Hellion: Barbaric rage and unrelenting savagery make for a powerful ally.
Highwayman: Elusive, evasive, persistent. Righteous traits for a rogue.
Houndmaster: A lawman and his faithful beast. A bond forged by battle and bloodshed.
Jester: He will be laughing still... at the end.
Leper: This man understands that adversity and existence are one and the same.
Man-At-Arms: The raw strength of youth may be spent, but his eyes hold the secrets of a hundred campaigns.
Occultist: To fight the abyss, one must know it...
Plague Doctor: What better laboratory than the blood-soaked battlefield?
Vestal: A sister of battle. Pious and unrelenting.
And at last, the Shieldbreaker:Shifting, swaying—she mesmerizes her prey before the final strike.

(So yeah anyway, basically im starting another Darkest Dungeon run and if anyone wants to take part in being a hero, just post your name and one of the listed Heroes you'd choose. I'll try to reply as soon as i can with an screenshot of the hero. You'll be updated on traits/quirks you gain over your adventures and how you died.)

Thou have a guilty conscience and will never drink. Though you are stout, a weapons tinkerer and always on guard, aswell as a Ruins Explorer. You are not as fast and dont have alot of stamina and thus cant bear to run alot, instead you rely on your instincts and reflexes to dodge when you're about to be striken!

Darkest dungeon is a great game.

You arrived first, with the Wagon along with a friend of yours,a highwayman which accompanied you on many adventures. Dedicated to the holy light you are god-fearing, fighting for the sun to rot out these horrible monstrosities!

Every warrior has a bad side, yours is, you're a Kleptomaniac. But not without reason, on a journey before the Highwayman had shown you the way of arts of the quick-hands. Showing you that within the pockets or belongings of even the purest dark secrets are hidden. Not only the holy light which had shown you the way is at fault for you becoming a crusader, as youngling your town was attacked by the eldritch gods. Only as the banner of light was sighted over the far hillside they had retreated.. this is how you became a crusader, a warrior of the holy light.

Being a nomadic warrior, you and another Hellion arrived in the Hamlet, in search of a glorious death which is destined to come soon these weeks, seeing the eldritch abominations spewing out of the Manor atop the hill...

Not much is known about your origin as of yet, being you only arrived this week in the Hamlet, not many connections have been made, but it is known through a conversation you had with your fellow Hellion in the Tavern that you are indeed quite an known adventurer in the Warrens, slaying those which dare cross your way and threaten you, hunting well and gloriously with not a few, but a bunch of scars to mark your battles. Aswell that your times in the Coves havent been great, being that you had lost several of your friends in those deep deep depths of the Cove to the Sirens and their servants.. but your adventure doesnt end, you seek the glorious death in these dark dark times..

Arriving late but not late enough to miss the first expedition outside of the Hamlet, you followed the Holy Crusader's lead, his name being Clancy. Quite a backstory is behind your group of a crusader, vestal, highwayman and plague doctor but thats a story for another time..

Before you became a vestal you were a mere peasant in a village not far from the Hamlet, gambling daily but quite badly at that. You lost the last of your savings and didn't want to be a mere street-child, so you seeked the guidance of the holy light, to let it cleanse you of your sins and give you guidance into the future. Studying daily and helping those wounded in need. Daily training and meditation has affected your stance, making it seem quite balanced. The last expidition before being sent out to the Hamlet was a cove expedition, with the goal of slaying a Siren not too far from your hometown... you succeeded. But the images will haunt you forever, a houndmaster's dog abducted by the Siren to return as eldritch abomination, causing you to almost go completely insane! Since that day, you just cannot look at any other beast and eldritch whispers trouble your mind... it will not be easy for you in the Hamlet so stay prepared..

Darkness.. silk.. wood, inside a shed, fed daily with horrible meals by that old disgusting hag.. the meals changing you over time, cursed assaults of hounds every day which ended up as the Hag's and your meal.. untill one day, it was a party of adventurers..

Rescued by a party of adventurers you finally were free, the Hag treated you like her child, feeding you with horrible disgusting meals consisting of froglegs, various mutated herbs filled with corruption, contracting amounts of diseases which even a plague doctor would not be able to cure. The Food had long ago started changing your body, your person and sanity the same. Coming to accept yourself as what you have become, you followed the party back to the Hamlet to try and regain your sanity and take revenge on the Eldritch abominations and creatures which were the cause for all of this. As abomination you will have your strenghts and weaknesses, one of the biggest being trying to sustain your sanity, or whats left of it, trying not to submit to the insanity these Abominations have cursed these lands with.

All of life is a constant toil to keep oneself alive for just a little bit longer, and you know it and embrace it, able to keep yourself standing to prepare a deathblow to your enemies.. Arriving after exiting your own kingdom which you ruled, you banned yourself due to the plague which had ruined your own body which also explains the mask and bandages.. Seeking to put an end to these eldritch abominations..

Traversing through lands and fields, you finally arrived in Hamlet, having studied the lands on your way you know every creak and crevice and how to use it to your own advantage. When not in an expedition you are a night owl of the town's guard, always. Due to your sickness which is ruining your body the longer time goes on, a precision blow by any enemy will have you tuckered out in mere seconds. Safekeeping your Blade and mask you realise also you are obsessed with material things, as the Plague doctor stated, its the so called 'Hylomania'. After one expedition you went to pray in the Town's chapel, till today you still regret that decision because you saw what happened, unspeakable traumatic events have made you a witness and thus you refuse to return to the Town's Chapel forever.

Yea it kinda did die. Buuuuuuuuuuut, if i get the time again i will continue it most likely. Maybe even today if i got the time or want to. So dont give up hope just yet even if its a few months old.
