I don´t see a command area. And for a idea, how about a tiny three man outpost or two with generic characters, maybe the raiders we capture and convert?

Command area is next to the brig, it only has a big table and a communication console, but it also has the executive commander's quarters.

Have you started the game? It has been a couple days.
“Here is the wild Homo Sapien hunting its prey. The humanoids are pack hunters, using their shoddy armor as a pitiful defense against the towering Insecta. The human is quickly downed by the Insecta’s powerful slash. But, sheer numbers of humanoids rampage the abuser and Insecta is eventually burned to death, beaten, and dismembered.”

Here's the first album of the events on the outpost.

Whiskey Outpost was recently constructed with the goal of bringing peace to the lawless planet of KZ-294. This large planet has had multiple colonization attempts, but has also had its share of crime. While there are lawful colonies that still remain on the surface, this outpost has a duty to help maintain a peaceful environment to allow the growth of the colonies present.

Executive Officer John Weaselburg opens communications with the USS Geiger. The Geiger is a patrol ship that orbit's around KZ-294 to check progress, relay orders, and deliver supplies to the outpost. Officer Weaselburg gives the status of the planet and his outpost. Weaselburg receives orders to send a squad of men to root out a tribal base nearby. The tribe that has settled there has shown almost feral behavior against anyone outside the tribe,and there have been reports from colonies of colonists being dragged off. Weaselburg confirms the orders and instructs the synthetic to wake alpha squad from cryosleep.

Edward wakes up alpha squad as they sit down, and try to shake off the effects of cryo.

Alpha squad is briefed on the nature of their mission, and are told that the primary goal is to destroy this faction all together. All contacts are presumed to be hostile, and while there is not Intel on their defenses it would be safe to assume their weaponry would be primitive.

The marines are loaded into their drop pods, and the course is set to launch them in range.

When the marines land on the planet and get their bearings, they do some reconnaissance on the tribe, seeing that while crude their defenses could prove a problem along with their large numbers.

SSGT Puck Mike orders PFC Paul 'Grunt' Lorenz to get the natives attention with his shotgun. After making a quick advancement from his allies Grunt takes a shot at a native patrolling around their defenses, which causes the whole tribe to go into alarm. Grunt then falls back in an attempt to get into some cover. While his squad-mates cover his retreat.

The fight continues on for sometime, the tribal's have gotten into defensive positions are are no trading arrows, and javelins with the marines. SSGT Puck Mike gets hit by an arrow right in the chest, but luckily his armor saved him from a worse blow.

SGT Manley ‘The-Man’ Dawkins advances into the tribe as the opposition begins to fade, setting fire to the numerous huts. It's a much safer way to clear rooms, and Manley has no problem listening to the screams of those he set aflame over the loud crackling of the fire. These wooden buildings were the perfect target for Manley.

CPL Tyson 'Burny' Sphere tends to the marines wounds before they prepare for the march back to the outpost. SSGT Puck Mike took a harder blow than he realized during the engagement, that arrow shattered one of his ribs. This wouldn't be much of a problem as Dr. Jones could put in a replacement once he returned.

While CPL Tyson 'Burny' Sphere tends to the marines SGT Manley 'The-Man' Dawkins enjoys a meal while admiring his work. Once everyone's wounds have been tended to the marines pack up their supplies and head back to base.


I could probably go into more detail on the next ones, but for this first one I just wanted to do something simple to see how well it works. Toss in ideas if you want, bravo squad is going to be on the next operation. Also I'll try to record the next bit of combat.

I would like to take more prisoners. Perferably one or two per op. They aren´t neccesary though.
