OH GOD, I love Soma. I've been watching a youtuber, Cry, play a playthrough on it. I've gotten half-way through it and it's just.. The story line is so appealing and interesting, the fact that there are no humans left and only robots. And that their only salvation is the ARK? The idea, the concepts and how reality is shown in it is very amazing. I love the game, but I dislike the fear aspect it adds to it. Horror games aren't one of my favorites, so the creatures who can chase you (adding in that jump-scare factor) are what stop me from buying the game myself and playing it. But other than that, it's a very great game with an interesting story-line. Can't wait to see the end of it, how it all turns out.

I'm hoping for a happy ending, but it's obvious that won't happen.
Melissa Wright. Mel, for short.

Jessie 'Jester' Streeter says, "Throw our hands in the air go, EYYY-YOOO, I THINK I'M GOING LES-BOOOO"
OOC: Freemysoul: DEAD: Terry 'Oddball' Shrapnel says, "Melissa wright hasn't even discovered fire yet and the brass gives her a rifle"

I realize some may not know what Soma is.
SOMA is a sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games, the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is an unsettling story about identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human.

The radio is dead, food is running out, and the machines have started to think they are people. Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered an intolerable isolation and we’re going to have to make some tough decisions. What can be done? What makes sense? What is left to fight for?

Enter the world of SOMA and face horrors buried deep beneath the ocean waves. Delve through locked terminals and secret documents to uncover the truth behind the chaos. Seek out the last remaining inhabitants and take part in the events that will ultimately shape the fate of the station. But be careful, danger lurks in every corner: corrupted humans, twisted creatures, insane robots, and even an inscrutable omnipresent A.I.
You will need to figure out how to deal with each one of them. Just remember there’s no fighting back, either you outsmart your enemies or you get ready to run.

LEts talk about a interesting soma concept

Here is a scary thing to think about several years ago. I was physically a COMPLETELY different person down to the last atom. But YYet I remain the same with my personality
so does that REALLY make me, Me? Or am I simply just a continuous thought process that was set in motion was the original, me>
and does that mean personality changes due to brain injuries are really the result of a disruption IN that continuous thought process. meaning the original is truly dead.

Relating with Soma. The concept is that if you scan yourself in. You get to continue to live. However if you as a digital and you are a person continue to live the same way. You will soon be different due to different life experiences. So does that mean the digital you is REALLY you?

Now one person believed that if you killed yourself as soon as you were scanned in. You would actually as a soul type thing be put into the ark, Because just as it seems with bodies. You are just a continuous thought process. So does that mean that you now truly are the digital copy? Because it was just your thought process.

That is some true mind fuck people.
