From Medieval I and II to Empire, Rome I and II, Napoleon, and Attila

Meh, i prefer glourious Paradox Interactive grand startegies.

Here's my latest game as Netherlands(https://i.imgur.com/h7zsAnL.png) in Victoria 2. Most of my territories were annexed without any wars.
My name is Ulysses Skyfall, but people call me "Meat".

Also have a few screenshots myself from Rome 2. By far my favorite of the series now that they fixed it.

I played Rome 2 with gritted teeth after they claimed to fix it. Then I stopped for the last time when I loaded up my first siege battle, and watched the AI do it's thing.

I used to play Total War, but once I found other games (Paradox games, to be specific), I found it lacked any depth. Empire: Total War is intolerable to play when I could be making Ryukyu a world spanning power instead.

You can do that in Crusader Kings 2 and Europa Universalis IV, too.

Well, yes, but they'd start as a puppet of Austria and would have to find a way to get independence, making it significantly harder.

Sadly, I don't own the Rise of the Samurai dlc so I don't have a comment about that, however I find the base game rather good when it comes to playing the battles as most battles are different, it may also help that I personally like that time period quite abit. When it comes to SP I rather like how there are clan bonuses and debuffs along with the ninja cutscenes which remind me a lot of medieval 2 total war.

When it comes to FoTS, I mainly like it for the multiplayer and the naval battles (Naval battles because it looks like it was directed by Michael Bay every time you sink an enemy ship). The multiplayer reasons are that it generally adds a twist to the game which is that the average line infantry is fairly strong, however they need direct line of sight compared to the bow units which don't require that.

I loved the TW games back in the day, but now I am a Paradox fanboy, well, up until HoI4 and Stellaris, which sorta killed it all for me.
