CM Game Night: Quiplash JULY 1ST

Post by Westhybrid » 18 Jun 2016, 14:46

Separate from the CM Game Night that Apop was looking into doing, I'm inviting everyone at Colonial Marines to join in on July 1st for a game of Quiplash.

http://jackboxgames.com/project/quiplash/

For those of you who don't know what it is or have never played, Quiplash is a very commonly streamed party-game by Jackbox, in which we can have up to eight players at a time who write answers, and up to TEN-THOUSAND observing players.

For each round of Quiplash, the players are given prompts, and they just write in answers. Then, between two answers, the players AND the audience votes on which they liked best, which they thought was funnier, etc. The audience vote can actually sway more than the players, so it's anyone's game.

Best part is, Quiplash is completely free to you guys, since I'll be the one hosting it from my Playstation. Anyone who wants to join in can do so by going to jackbox.tv on their computers, phones, tablets, etc. We'll be using voice chat through Discord, I think.

So, hopefully we'll see you guys there on Friday, July 1st at 6pm PST. Everyone'll get a chance to play.

But school and timezones :(
The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

If you got a different time you'd recommend, we definitely can change it to accommodate more people.

The problem is no matter what time we pick a group of cm players will always be left out of it, I mean if this becomes a regular thing you could always chop and change it every week to accomodate different timezones, which might be nice :)
