The Xeno Code of Honor

Post by Butterrobber202 » 22 Apr 2017, 10:20

The Xeno Code of Honor

Evolving
  • Always call it out. Tell everyone in Hivemind what you are going to try to evolve into.
  • Get the Queen's Permission, always.
  • NEVER EVER SILENT EVOLVE!. Silent Evolving is the act of sitting in the Hive, doing nothing, saying nothing until you are a T3.
  • Always Push Silent Evolvers as they evolve to cancel their Evolution.
Hunting
  • Always call out your intended hunting location
  • Try to stick with a fellow Sister at all times. (It Doubles your effectiveness)
  • Never bite off more than you can chew.
  • Never run blindly into a Marine area, this is how Young Runners get blown up.
Rescuing
  • Always help a fellow downed Sister, no matter the cost!
  • Don't drag injured Xenos farther than you need to! This can kill them!
  • Save the Queen before others.
  • (Crusher Targeted) Always jump in front of Downed Sisters, block those bullets!
(W.I.P.)

Hold on, why are fella xeno's referred to as 'sister', if the only thing that can really even reproduce is the queen. It's a gender limbo for everything else.

If you are with a slower sister (boiler, prae, spitter, Queen) on the retreat, try to slow or lure away the invaders. Slow sisters can't defend themselves.

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Preety sure that was only with the Queen, if not, gonna need ya to point to the source, because so far its either

"Females"
"Neither"

The only time i remember a xeno being refered to as *female* is with the queen, which was for obvious reasons by Ripley (I mean...do i need to state why?)

Perhaps there are more then two genders.

Xeno honor code is interesting but I don't think it'll ever be enforced. Really, Xenos just need to follow the Queens orders and thats the extent most players will take it. That being said, cool code and it would be awesome if it WAS followed.

the second statement contradicts the first
and if you're a T3 you shouldn't go out of your way to save T1s or even T2s... maybe T3s... but it's not worth the risk of getted naded as a rav and dying trying to save a yung runna
I play Xeno 99% of the time. All castes.

Last time I was Queen I spent the entire round drilling into their heads that always help your sisters and do not go off alone, always tag team.
Took just until we took the Nexus for all of them to get the point.
Kids these days just don't listen to their parents anymore.

I think of myself as a pretty honorable xeno player and I've broken almost all of those rules before.

There's also been times where I saved a robust hunter over a trash queen that made the game harder with shitty orders.

The requirement is that we can't defy the queen's orders, especially direct ones. We don't have to do things she /might/ want if she doesn't say anything.

A "Code of Honor" is the wrong way to think about playing a xeno. It's all about instinct and natural cunning. Xenos have no honor code.

I do that because it minimizes losses and I've dealt with enough press to know that swarming results in bombing.

On one hand I hate when a ravager risks their life and I think it's a bit selfish but on the other hand there are players who has the most fun in these duels and if they really love that I don't want to ruin it.

I don't think that when he says Xeno' Code. That he means that there is actually a Xeno' Code. Like how there's usually a code in COD: Nazi Zombies, "Thou shall buy the door if thy hath the most currency." Type of deal. I believe he's just indicating that there should be a certain ettiquette to gameplay when it comes to Xenos hence why he called out the whole sleeper Xeno thing. I do that as well, evolve silently every so often because the Queen's more interested in spamming Ayylmao than giving me a role to assume.

I have a few that mainly show up when I'm Queen, but carry over to other castes.

1: On maps where the main playing field gets breached by a wayward grenade or asshat runner, stop engaging any marines knocked down and suffocating and let them flee. No one likes getting killed because of something like a breach. If Queen, order all Xenos to stop attacking and tell a drone to patch the breach. Marines are better as hosts, not corpses. The ship, however, is exempt from this.

2: A human attacking a T2/3 with melee is only deserving of equal treatment, and should only be hugged when incapacitated via slashing. Shitler survivors with a fireaxe and five welding masks in their bags are exempt and deserve the most brutal fuckening imaginable.

3: Only the Queen should get the honour of killing the CO unless she isn't around.

4: It's bumfuck retarded to try and kill/hug an unarmed human if there are armed ones in the way actively trying to kill you. Deal with them first.

5: T3s and ancients are more important than you as a T1/T2. Protect them at all costs unless they're incompetent.

6: Follow the spirit of the Queen's orders, not the exact wording.

7: Evolution jelly is made of the tears of SADAR specs.

Xeno Code of Honor? PFFT, I thought the only rule in it's code is to increase the effectiveness of marines' salt production.
