I pretty much only aim for legs now.

Its the right target for a running fight. Slow marines cant chase or retreat effectively and are much easier to tackle for a capture. A group can only move cohesively at the speed of its slowest marine. So if you break one leg/foot, the group either strings itself out, splinters into smaller groups, or stops altogether. Taking on a small group, creating this speed differential between its members is essential towards finding opportunities to fight the individuals instead of fighting the entire group at once. Against a larger group, this works towards the long game because it makes both disengaging less troublesome and works in your favor during the rout if you manage to break them. Plus, its really funny when you slice off a leg and it just hops around all angry.

Thinking xenos aim for legs. A slow marine is a dead marine.

Does tail attack on feet still trip the marine?

Breaking/removing arms puts them in enough pain to slow almost as much as de-footing though.

Depends on caste. If you’re playing something that has a high delimb chance aim for hand. If you’re playing runner and have like a 1% decap chance, just aim for foot or groin. If you’re memeing around and playing hunter and just looking for the fastest way to kill someone, aim for groin.

Lowest armor, and deals toxins damage in the low chance that they get away, if broken.

There are a lot of good targets. As rav I like aiming for hands and feet. I'll usually speak to see what my other xenos are targeting and target what they aren't. Right hand is usually the way to go.

Easier to damage due to lower protection. Causes organ damage that can't be treated by medics and will increase toxin damage (not all medics carry huge stocks of anti tox medication). Easy to put marines in Paincrit/slow them down.

For example, if the queen screeches and stuns 10 marines. You as an elite/ancient hunter pounce in and slash 3/4 of them in the groin once or twice, that is a ticking time bomb where those marines are going to need to be pulled off planet and spend time in med bay.

Sometimes as a Xeno it is better to not kill marines and just injure them badly enough that they need medical care. Drag then a little way from their buddies whilst slashing their groin and then drop them. Someone will come to try to grab a living marine and you then get the pounce on them to rinse and repeat.

OG xenos aim for the torso, because they enjoy the duel over the quick-kill/disable.

If I play runner I aim for the hand.

If I play sentinel/spitter I aim for the eyes. You cant shoot what you cant see.

Nose.
Max Dallas has been hit in the chest by the M40 HEDP grenade.

I will murder you Brittany Breeze

"It was a fantastic round. If the CO hadn't cryo'ed before the end I'd have bothered him to give at least two more medals. To PFC Max Dallas, who kept doing the path between the frontlines to FOB (the only place with medical aid) with a roller bed, and saved a lot of marines who'd have husked otherwise. And to Dr. Haley Altman, who after all medics were gone was fixing us time and again for hours straight. At the end there were over 10 patients around her either dead or in crit, and she just kept going."

I have never been blinded nor blinded a marine while targeting eyes (atleast I think I haven't), so I assume no.

I once got hit by a crusher once and it basically damaged nothing but hit my groin so hard I needed med evac'd. The doctor did not understand how it was possible.

iirc aiming for the eyes has a higher decap chance (atleast with bullets).

Still aiming for the groin for pain memes.

I've been hit in the eyes before. Totally fucked me, but it was probably a one in a million shot or something.

Feet. Not due to efficiency or anything, but purely for psychological effect. Marines coming up to medbay with missing arms and hands is normal. But an endless parade of one-legged marines hopping into medbay makes all the doctors wonder what kind of horrific foot-fetish lizards they're fighting down there.
