Marines have maps, and common knowledge of the layout of the colony. not coordinates but areas, so with that (not meta) knowledge marines can justify going anywhere on that map without it being metagaming.

How do you know what xenos know? How do they know what the LZ is? In Hadley's Hope xenos were waiting for drops? When there were no hosts left, they went back to sleep in hive to wait for eternity, becouse they are weapon. When you don't have anything to use that weapon, you holster it. In the terms of our game Xeno's didn't capture all hosts. There are survivors and monkeys all over the place that nobody wants to collect.

Also sometimes there are preds who hunts them. What +200 IQ xeno would just hang around LZ where there are HEADHUNTERS! MOM! HELP! IGNORE HEADHUNTERS! IGNORE!

Xenos know what synths are, how did they know that there won't be deployed squad of Synths? Gas is useless against them. Xenos watch so much Rick and Morty that they know that law won't allow USCM to use combat synths. How xenos know this isn't UPP colony?

Metarush is a thing only on lowpop and mostly happens without any command. Recently happened when without briefing/any info about operation 4 marines rushed with spec to Lambda (it was almost half of all marine population). Otherwise, almost every movement of squad is authorized by XO and can be explained IC.

Xenos have been in the colony I guarantee they have seena dropship come or go. We aren't asleep so that doesn't matter. I said after all the hosts are captured in an earlier response. Preds could come to the caves and fuck us up whats the difference, literally doesn't matter. We don't know its all synths, it could very well be all synths. Theres this little thing called adjusting the battle plan if its all synths. Xenos don't have to do 1 plan and only 1 plan. It doesn't matter if its a UPP colony they will fuck up the UPP when they come down too.

Seriously keep coming up with more points that don't matter and ill keep destroying them. You guys are wrong.

I was talking about not having coordinates for an OB.

Yes marines have knowledge of the map and can go anywhere. Im saying that's not why they rush to crashed ship EVERY SINGLE GAME. its because of ooc meta knowledge of xeno hive being in CIV 99% of the time which is right next to the crashed ship.

You are wrong a CO recently lost his whitelist because he was metarushing on prison. It may happen mostly on low pop but it still happens so I don't see why that matters?

Squad of synths demolish young xenos becouse boiler is useless and that plan was depending only on gas.
Let's just say there are no boilers, just for the sake of argument.
In that case marines would crush young xenos, they don't have abilities, or stats to deal with numbers superiority. Lurkers can attack one at the time, or they will be PB'ed, Ravs the same, crushers can clear one title line of marines, but they are all young. Pyro and Demo spec working together and Xenos would shit their thic exoskeleton.
Can't adapt to that, no plan to deal with it.

Predators will hunts us down? Our mortal enemy? Who cares, let us be slaughtered... We are here to get killerboner from killing weak marines, not to fight a battle, not to survive as xenos would want with their "survival is first".

The final point that you won't crush: If xenos waiting just outside dropship would be so lethal, then it would be 100% unfair for marines. Xenos can defend themself even from clear Command metarushes with a little bit of robustness/delaying.

You guys don't even realize that they have deemed sending 2 squads down early deployment as meta rushing and can potentially get a CO bwoinked or that they are actively redesigning maps to fix the meta rush that's caused by the new deployment. You guys just keep arguing and looking stupid for no reason trying to justify bullshit that shouldn't be in the game.

Yes synths would fuck up xenos, good thing there aren't a platoon of synths coming down.

Yes Predators can save the marines, im not arguging that but if you need predators tos ave you then that just reinforces the fact that my plan would destroy you.

Yes it is 100% unfair for marines and I guarantee a queen would get bwoinked for using my plan. Im just arguing with whoever said that xenos cant metarush marines and I was using it as a hypothetical to show why even if things like this aren't meta they are cancer to the game and shouldn't be done (like rushing crashed ship).

Now I'm not sure about what you are arguing. I'm saying that going Crushed Ship is not meta, becouse it's IC and xenos don't have another location to make a hive.
I'm also saying that it's a favour for xenos to be denied LZ camping.

The original point of the thread is "Marines aren't metarushing, change my mind". I also agree that LZ camping is a terrible idea because no one actually listens to the queen and would get killed horribly. I am saying if everything worked how I wanted I could smash marines in 2 minutes easy. I would never have people camp LZ even if it was legal because its no fun for marines. Just like getting metarushed and wiped by 1230 isn't fun for aliens.

Like I said on big red NO ONE explores anything besides medical and the road to lambda, or engineering then eta. That is pure meta. They don't check any of the buildings for survivors. Prison is meta because they don't check any of the cells for survivors they go straight to engineering, fix the power, then straight through the fastest path to crashed ship. That is meta. You can deny it all you want but it is meta.

FWIS squads usually partially comb through it all on the way, but also xenos encounter them and lead them places, those places can be the hive.

those areas are contact points, so no matter what unless the hive completely avoids contact with the marines they will be lead to the hive. The marines do not know there are contacts, but as i've said before things lead to the hive, be it live xenos or weeds (not just) sticky and walls

Marines use contact as an excuse too ooc meta where the hive is. Oh theres a runner and it ran west, I am gonna go west until I find it even if its across the entire station cause theres no way it changed direction at any point. Oh crap theres a whole hive 500 tiels from where I started going west that's crazy let me report it.

1. Go to place
2. Encounter xeno
3. Shoot xeno, it runs away
Now you have two options:
A. Follow the xeno and end up metarushing
B. Wander around randomly

Sometime's marines have to pretend to be stupid to not be effective. And I don't think it's really malicious either, the players have done this scenario hundreds of times so it's easy to just go with the flow.
I think that instead of saying "dont metarush" say what people are supposed to do instead, like checking for survivors was mentioned in the thread.

I just want to state that I don't blame marines for what happens. I am just stating what meta rushing is. I think it should be fixed by the devs with xenos maturing faster or making the maps not so rushable or something.

Project Nightmare, objectives that force marines to focus on finishing, and a boost to xeno evo+mature progress.

There, solved the metarushing issue. Now we need to move on to solving stupid xeno leading marines back to hive without changing direction once it knows marines are following; and stupid xeno who roar in the vent, destroying the hive its quickest way to roam the map.

I think someone famous once said "You cant fix stupid". Only way to really fix stupid is give usernames so we can point and laugh at the stupid xenos that keep doing stupid things.
