I have learned that the dev team doesnt give a shit about xenos. They have constantly nerfed us into the ground, they dont do anything about marines metaing like crazy, they never listen to any of our ideas, and they refuse to give us anything that can make the game more enjoyable. They want to make sure random brazillian queen #472 doesnt feel discriminated against as he throws the entire game because he doesnt eve know how to ovi none the less speak english. Cant have that guy being told he sucks. We are here to get shot at by marines and give them something to do. We dont matter. Its pointless even trying to change things.
Both adding project nightmare to prison and the xeno mutators are buffs for the xeno's
Xeno's get to adjust to the map longer and most of the inserts are to stop metagaming.
Mutators litterly give the xeno's better stats.

It seems all the arguments made against giving the xenos some kind of identification are null, cause it's happening on the marine side anyway.

Veteran xenos will get favoured? Well, marine veterans already get favoured. How can you argue that this is a-okay on the marine side, but shouldn't happen for xenos?
Non-canon? Who cares, we're moving away from the Alien lore to create our own.
It discriminates against certain playstyles? Oh, so like what happens to COs?

People want recognition for a job well-done, maybe make a few xeno friends, it ain't too much to ask for.
Yeah guess what. We already don't like it happening to the marines. It is 100% ok to have squad mates. But people who run off not following orders with their friends from all over the squads that is an issue. The fact that it is happening (so often) with marines only makes the argument that it will happen with xeno's stronger. See, if we say we don't want it to happen and it happens already with the marines it does not make our argument null it reinforces it cause 1. it is already happening and 2. We do not want it to happen.
You say it yourself marine veterans get favored. (And that is a bad thing for new players.)

-snip-
I said it because I wanted things be equal, and I haven't seen any steps taken to stop the marines veterans being favoured, so I figured that was just how things were.

In the end, I doubt you can do anything to stop it. This is how it is in any large teambased games and how humans work.
I have a few whitelists and a few characters...

over time mutators will be nerfed to the point where htey are just the base stats we have now. Any combo we figure out that is good will be nerfed to make it not op until its just where we are now except without mutators we will be even shittier. Ill believe it when I see it.

That's a bit cynical, 'skill point' systems are used widely across MMOs so I don't see why it wouldn't work here. It's essentially the xenomorph's version of going to req and getting attachments and grenades to deal more damage, sure it sounds really impressive in theory but I doubt it's going to bowl anyone over if you increase your slash damage by a couple points.

On the original topic, I think xeno identification is a good idea simply to help keep certain xenos in the mind of the queen so that she doesn't need to search through a list of ten runners with 3 digit names to find the one she was talking to before.
When the OB misfires and xenos are on your doorstep.
