The Last Flight of the USS-Sulaco

Post by Mister Jeether » 30 Apr 2017, 23:22

''You get filled with inspiration, looking at the stars...'

''The silence is broked when someone enters the room...''

''Commander?''

''You take a gulp of your whiskey before responding''

Commander: ''Yes, Liuetenant?''

Liuetenant: ''The marines are waiting at briefing, sir.''

''You take a deep breath, taking another gulp of your whiskey, clearing the sweat in your face''

Commander: ''How are we going to explain them that the Ensign launched the Rasputin down intentionally? They will go mad..''

''The Liuetenant stays in silence, unsure of what to say''

Commander: ''This is my fault, isn't it?''

''You get consumed by fear and rage for a moment, throwing the bottle of whiskey in the wall, splattering it's contents all over it, while the Liuetenant looks at you, terrified''

Liuetenant: ''I..i think i will delay the briefing when you are better, sir.''

Commander: ''NO! They...they need to know the truth.''

''You get up of your chair, even feeling dizzy, you head to the briefing room, nervous.''

''The marines are mad, making a mess in briefing, the MPs have their riot gear on, while trying to contain the marines''

''You take the megaphone, while looking the mess the marines started...You look at medbay window's, you see wounded marines, the doctors are perfoming CPR in them, You can feel the weight of the fault, the pain, the deaths you caused for your incompetence, you almost go out of your mind, passing out''

You wake up still confused of where you are, still feeling a little dizzy.''

Commander: ''Where...where am i?''

''You notice you are in your quarters, you get a a deep breath, trying to calm yourself''

Commander: ''I...i'm in my quarters...what...what happened?''

''You put effort in opening the airlock of your quarters, you take a huge gasp, the bridge is completely flooded with weeds, human limbs scattered everywhere, you can see the deceased corpses of your BOs, the people and women that you worked with for so long...you look at their corpses, terrifed with such a vision''

''You take a look at the whiskey in the wall, that you broked in your quarters earlier, it was dry.''

Commander: ''How...how long i've been here?''

''You speak in your headset, but the only thing you could hear was weird noises, a weak hissing came from it''

''You noticed that the power is down, the consoles are not damaged, but the Bridge's power cabinet has visible signs of slashing, it seems it was made by some kind of clawed beast''

Commander: ''Well...i will need a powercell if i want to get out of here...''

''You take your M44 off your belt, It's still loaded and functionall.''

''You notice the bridge airlocks are unpowered, you need a crowbar to manage to pry the airlocks open''

''You look around, as you notice a dead Technician, you notice a toolbelt around his waist''

''When you approach the Technician, you notice that he is breathing, and still has pulse''

''You shake him up, until he awakes...He shows you his huge, gaping wound in his leg, pointing at a bandage in his left''

''He stutters:''

Technician: ''W-Who...a-are...y-you...''

Commander: ''Can't you recognise my beautifull face?''

''The technician shrugs''

Commander: ''You think you can repair that panel?'' ''You point at the damaged pannel''

Technician: ''Y-yeah...i..i think i can fix that...''

''15 minutes passes, as you give cover to him''

Technician: ''Everythin' should be kickin',we just need to turn on the main computer aaaand...''

''As the technician activates the control panel, the AI turns on, shouting over the comms:''

MOTHER: ''All systems, nominal, air systems, nominal, Two active crew personnel active''

''The loud mechanic sounds emitted from the consoles, you hear a extremely strong hissing and roaring at the same time''

Commander: ''SHIT!''

''The technician takes a M41A Pulse rifle from one of the deceased BOs, leaving bridge''

Comander: ''What the fuck are you DOING?!''

Technician: ''Avenging my people...''

''As the blast doors option comes available, you are forced to leave the technician behind''

MOTHER: ''ATTENTION. Technician Noah Kirchner's heart-beats have stopped. Medical is required in: Frontal bridge''

Commander: ''shit...shit....SHIT!''

''You take a moment to calm down''

Commander: ''Fuck these bugs...''

''As you acess the console, you notice several unreceived S.O.S messages''

''You drop a tear, taking a look at each one of them...''

Commander: ''There's not time to lament...i gotta do something.''

''You organise a emergency message for high-command, when everything is ready, you hear something heavy squeezing through the ducts''

Commander: ''What is that..?''

''A alien come out of the vent, giving a vicious hissing at you''

Commander: ''SHIT!''

''Before you could even react, you are violently impaled by the alien's sharp, vicious tail, blood soaking through your clothing''

''The alien drops you into the floor, you put all your efforts in pressing the button in the console, the alien grabs you, revealing it's tongue''

''As you feel it trespassing your skull, a white light fills your lifeless eyes...''

MOTHER: ''Message sucesfully transmited, Thank you for your service.''

Other than the obvious mistakes with grammar and such, it's good.
