Make the chainwhip suck less. My suggestion is either giving it a range, or perhaps the ability to easier trip T1's/T2's
Fix bodyblocking
Make pounces not lock us into position
Make the heavy armor cover more of the body or buff the mask against removal
Make the glaive able to cleave to multiple targets.

Make Combi-stick a two handed weapon.

Aiming for the head of a dead body then clicking it with the ceremonial dagger would give a message about cutting off the head of the body, In a few seconds the head would be removed.
Along with a Item that clips to body mesh (Like webbing) that only holds heads
"Xeno Skull" item that is dropped from xenos after you remove their head, It would display the xenos caste and number (Like human heads have their name)

A predator can fire a heavy plasma caster shot, Drop the caster, Get it back out again and fire another shot effectively avoiding the slow rate of fire.

A gear locator, to locate lost predator shit.
Also, butchery destroys the head instead of ripping it off like it says.
More pred stuff having debuffs when used by humans

Allow us to make cloaks and the like from human and xeno skin. Also if we could get the xeno’s head that’d be awesome.

This has perhaps been brought up before, but it would be really nice if the wrist blades or scims didn't retract and lose 100% of their windup on every single tackle success.

The smart-disc should probably be removed from the list of available equipment when you begin the hunt as from my knowledge it's literally just another smart-disc.

Having the ship relay the count of humans and xenos every 30 minutes or on request would be incredibly nice. Maybe a verb one can perform that updates the information whenever used.

Preds should have natural thermal vision without their visors. (This could be a long term goal of sorts) When their mask gets knocked off their natural vision could be like 'structure' vision, but they would have trouble seeing xenomorphs with their mask off. The mask could also probably glow against the background (Just be visible) in this case as it would likely have a higher heat signature than the surrounding environment.

The ability to cross the fog on LV would be nice, honestly anything to get away from the RNG nature of the teleport and river fog.

Have some misc stuff we can build with metal and sandstone to decorate lodges.

Allow remains to be a unanchored item we can use as trophies (since they look like actual skulls)

Not being able to TACKLE, POUNCE, -and- being SLOWED takes away any sort of challenge if you're seeing a 1v1 hunt. Or an adjustment to the honor code where killing anything trapped is dishonorable.

Honestly, I'd prefer if it was reverted back to when it just slowed.

The whole idea of the trap is to prevent prey (mostly xenos) from zooming away when you catch them, forcing them to fight. I don't mind if they can still pounce and stomp and all that. What I WANT them to do is FIGHT.

I'd also like if all weapons in the predator armory had increased attack speeds as well, to make it easier to connect hits with really fast xenos without having to rely on traps to make them easier to target. And hell, reducing stun times even further so that xenos can't just tackle you down for a few free hits or to freely run away would be nice as well.

Generally, I want updates where predator combat doesn't have to rely on slowing down xenos with traps just so you can wack them. Would also make it easier for people with ping issues to fight as well (so then dave can stop kicking my butt).

... And while I know this won't be added ever, I still yearn for the day when we get a sort of plasma pistol for self defense. The Plasma rifle is nice and all, but the fact that it only really has 3 shots at most before it needs to recharge makes it a difficult weapon to suppress pesky runners, and the spike gun is too slow to use on xenos. Having a weapon that fires med-level plasma shots and is able to fire around 10-15 shots before needing to recharge would be nice. But that is just me...

I agree with Sailor Dave. The translator is often useless to try and RP with, and I have to give up with ideas due to poor communication. It'd be nice to have a way to mimic voices/messages through the bracer to communicate without having to go through "me" and makeshifting it.

I also agree that the translator as it stands is a little... underwhelming. Both when using it and when being on the receiving end, in comics and games it is shown that a Preds translator can perfectly mimic speech. It would be really neat to see something similar to the voice changers on other servers so instead of 093R H3R3. You get Wolfgang Schneider? Says: "Over here" with some weird alteration to the name of the person you are mimicking to give an "off" feel.

Another one or two not major features that wouldn't change balance of the Preds would be:

- Ability to plant a harpoon in the dirt barricade. This would then further allow a predator to impale a head/skin onto it for a warning pole to deter intruders into lodges. Spruce the place up a bit.

- Trophy belt. Fits on the backpack slot and serves to hold heads/skin with minor sprites depending on the number of trophies to display the kills.

Not sure how hard either of those would be to implement and would most likely be an asthetic change to just give us a bit more presence in the round and to give the lodge some more decorations/incentive to build amazing looking ones.

Was meant to post this but went on vacation instead ignoring the fact of this chatter we had on discord about week ago. Uncertain if its a bug or powergamey though is part of a macro system. Back before many developers were there was .click system which there was a .click macro which capable of targetings _Unknown as being predators are identified as unknown. Similar play which I personally have seen from Xenos and marines is a point unknown macro maybe even examine one which aint big iffy however this particular macro seems a bit an issue. Due to the fact like targeting it has the ability if predator is within same sorta area within screen range can automatically point in direction of pred despite lets say in darkness/cloaked. Even if they are cloaked or out of sights due to it being in darken area they can by chance target us by using that macro it aint a .click macro but is a macro. It does seem like a macro strictly for predator hunting or targeting predators only logical use would be in HG system but eh maybe some ERTs but seems strictly out for pred hunting purposes. Could be metagamey unsure how you peeps would identify it but does seem like a lot of preds deaths.

What I propose is perhaps while were are cloaked we simply aren't identified sorta like ghost thing where can't follow certain character or blocks out the identifier as "Unknown" to prevent such. It doesn't seem as a big deal however when have pred hunting groups with a RPG strictly armed for huntin preds seems a bit powergamey/metagamey/bug abusive eh? Being able to point at something automatically without even being within sight sounds iffy. I can buy if they legit see our outline and point near the tile we are I can buy that but auto point to us macro seems really off.

Not really a minor suggestion, but perhaps giving marine research the ability to reverse engineer predator tech? (or just shove it in the cargo bay for massive bonus points). Sorta of a marine counterpart to the Abomination, and with the marines having a benefit of having predators around, could possibly improve relations between us special snowflakes and the community at large

Might be interesting for them to get something out of scavenging our tech and a reason to bring the tech to the Almayer, but it will quickly devolve into massive Dunga hunts by the power gamers to try and get into huge all out war with the preds to try and get this tech.

It may be good. But it would need careful consideration, half the time it is hard enough to get some interaction from marines without giving them an additional reason to just go bullet mode the second they hear a clicking in the darkness

Since marines can wear pred armor for massive damage resistance (plus cool) and people just want the credit of killing a pred, this already happens.
