Aliens can rest and still tackle and pounce?

Post by Runesock » 10 May 2017, 00:13

I was playing a round as a survivor, and i got captured, infected and brought to the nest and locked into a resin bed, after a little while i started to resist and the alien got fed up so one of them rested on top of me, and the nest time i got up, they managed to tackle and pounce me all without having to get up from their resting position.

(i don't have a screen shot of this, due to the fact i have no clue how to)

Might also be tied to how stunned Aliens can still tackle/slash nearby targets.
This is war, survival is your responsibility.

Being able to attack while lying down is not exclusive to xenos. Not sure if this should be considered a bug.

Humans can't do it, though. It seems exclusive to Aliens.

But uh, Aliens can attack and tackle when knocked down, it isn't a bug based on Apop and Noize

Humans are able to do it, there's just no reason to do it.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Yep, just not terribly helpful in most situations.
"Memories can be vile. Repulsive little brutes, like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can't face them, we deny reason itself! Although, why not? We aren't contractually tied down to rationality. There is no sanity clause. So when you find yourself locked down in an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember: There's always madness. You can just step outside and close the door, and all those dreadful things that happened, you can lock them away. Madness... is an emergency exit."
