McRipfist Commander Application! Part Deux

Player name you use the most:
Robert 'Caddy' Timmins, although I also plan on using my Commander specific character Franklin Ackerman.

Make a list of links to all of your applications and (job)ban appeals, including whitelist and staff apps, within the last year. Also, provide "Ban reason; Verdict" beside each (job)ban link: Moderation Application

Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
Yes.

Why should you be whitelisted?
(This was already applied once but I had it removed because I was suppose to go into hiding in Siberia, but that changed so here we are again.)

I have limited experience as Commander due to my worry that I would be inadequate at it, but only a short time before the whitelisting came into effect I played the role three times and I believe each round went splendid. If I can recall correctly there was one marine major won via a war of attrition, and two xeno majors that were lost in similar wars of attrition. Overall when I played the character I discarded my usual all-caps semi-orders and psychotic ranting of a wanna-be Squad Leader Private in favor of a more collected demeanor and very simple orders given in layman terms. I made use of my all-comms earpiece to speak to each squad individually and a pre-written Briefing speech that outlined the operation, the squad orders (The squad names for each objective are left blank as to allow adjustment depending on squad role makeup) and expected time of completion for maximized efficiency.

I think I've played Executive Officer once and it was not as Commander-esque as the numerous times I played as Bridge Officer without anyone else intelligent on the bridge. From my BO experiences I can say that while sometimes I'll go to take a piss and come back to everyone being dead or receiving an ahelp and having to aghost for twenty minutes until some dipshit nice person sticks me in Cryogenics the overall time I spend is had giving orders and receiving Operation updates something which I believe I excel at.

I play Liaison quite often as Daniel Carmichael and if it isn't spent getting my shit kicked in for no reason other than being the Liaison, it's spent writing reports on Command efficiency, Colony damage assessments, Xenomorph classification and use as bio-weapon, as well as requests for Death Squads when I've been killed three times by the Bridge Officers, random fuckers breaking into my office and the Bridge Officers again. I also take initiative in heading to the colony myself to take photographs of live specimens, as well as gathering any documents pertaining to the incident at hand. I would say that I try to play a similar role as Burke if he wasn't such a fucking coward and a bastard. Since I usually stay Planet-side well into the last phase of a Xeno Major I do my best to drag wounded marines to safety and save those I can while still doing my best to protect Wey-Yu assests. Oh, and one time I had to retrieve the Predator axe from the crypt to the North East on LV-624 right as the marines were being pushed back from the Science dome; I succeeded.

This is really long in my opinion. I'm done now.

I'd give you the +1 if it mattered but I have a serious problem with Mods, Mentors and Admins becoming the CO in that half the time you get asked for an order you're too busy dealing with "waah waah X stole my gun with all the attachments and all that's left is RDS and Extended Barrels". Maybe it's not too bad on high pop when others are around to handle it.

The +1 does matter, if I don't get the amount required I don't get through the white-list. Frankly I'm insulted that you think that my Moderating would ruin the round when I specifically stated that while there are times when my job has overtaken my IC role, it is only briefly and not something that has ever hindered Operation progress.

Well, you're online now. If you're playing Bridge roles perhaps you can change my mind.

I was about to ask how you would spend time before a briefing comes, but it seems you already read my mind.

You sound like you got a good head on them shoulders, and considering our past interactions, I believe I can confidently give you my vote.

I feel I'd enjoy being part of your command staff, should RNG intend it to be so.

I disagree. CO whitelist should be limited to players who have an good understanding of every role - (noncombat roles included). The primary purpose of a CO should be overall strategy.
