Seen em a fair number of times as the SO For charlie and a good number of times as the XO, They always seem to perform quite well under both positions so i've got no problems seeing them armed with a mateba and a fancy hat +1 from me!, Also they called me a good medic once.

Saw him few times as SO of my squad and one or two times as XO. Was quite satisfied so far. Want to see some feedback from someone from staff about his notes history, but so far it's +1 from me.

P.S. Damn, THIS is how you should write applications! Damn, man, awesome work, entertaining to read.

Sure, I've enjoyed RPing with him - even when we had our IC differences. And I think the ability to deal with and reconcile things is important.

Your app had my vote since you posted it, but I have the time to comment now. I've seen you around a fair lot, never had any trouble, and you lead well. I'm fairly sure you deserve to have the whitelist, so here is my +1. (It's not like you are leading with 16 to 0 right now anyways :P)

Well shit guys, I honestly didn't expect this much support in one day. I feel like more and more people are getting grilled on their CO app like it's a pred app, so thank you for all the yeses.

I actually asked Snype before I applied and I had no bans/notes on record (which somewhat surprised me considering my first drop a few months ago involved me decapping a medic via accidental buckshot), but you're welcome to wait for someone to confirm.

Eeeey, nice looking application that -also- fits within the formatting. I didn't consider doing that while making mine. But very clever. Points for the creativity!

This is beautiful. Also, great marine, follows orders, and is a good RPer.

Honestly I heavily dislike this applications, as someone who does writing as a hobby, this is absolutely horrendously formatted and a pain to read, I get that it's fancy and the idea was to make it look like an IC document but it just made it harder to read.

The main issue I have with this is that it's rediculously vague, there isn't a single specific example of what you do in a command roll, this app is full of language that is made to seem like you know what you're talking about and I find it pretty obnoxious, this whole application pretty much tells me nothing about how you would be as a commander

Well thanks man, I'd be happy to smartgun for a squad you're commanding anytime. You're an absolute legend.

Turning to Kavrick, thanks for the feedback. I have a lot of respect for you man. Now, responding to your points:

Kavrick wrote:as someone who does writing as a hobby, this is absolutely horrendously formatted and a pain to read

1. As you picked up on, the formatting is supposed to mirror the military documents I've run into, most of which are horrendously difficult to read in-and-of themselves. That's just the price of the "arrpee" application. And as per the writing itself, it's not pristine, but as someone who makes a living off of his writing, I don't have too much of a problem with it.

Kavrick wrote: it's rediculously vague, there isn't a single specific example of what you do in a command roll, this app is full of language that is made to seem like you know what you're talking about and I find it pretty obnoxious, this whole application pretty much tells me nothing about how you would be as a commander

2. Well, I would suggest you read into it a bit more. From the time I've played in a command-support role, I've continually noticed a lack of the braggadocious, swagger-stick wearing, aggressive Marine Commander trope in our current CO pool. So that's what I tried to portray: aggressive maneuvering, limited FOBs, tactically freed up SLs, and a set belief in Marine combat superiority. Is that character one dimensional and obnoxious? Yep! And as I play him I hope to develop more aspects to the character, similar to how Carson went from the "never retreat meme commander" to a rather multifaceted commander with a penchant for evaccing himself. Whether you see that as a weakening of his previous RP or a growth of his character, I'd like to think that my character will undergo some amount of change from my experiences as well.

3. Also -- I wish you would have asked me for some examples or given scenarios if you found such a lack of substance. I specifically mentioned that I'm happy to take questions. Not giving any feedback but "this is written bad and is bland and obnoxious because I don't understand it" then downvoting just seems like you're being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

Honestly, I didn't vote because 'fancy thing'. Scrimp is fun to RP with, and he's a good dude. We had a brief salt moment, it was resolved and now he's totally cool. I figured the ability to leave salt behind and RP kindly/not metagrudge was important, too.

Thats enough for me to + 1 this.
