Mike Hernandez's Commanders App

Player name you use the most:
Mike Hernandez

Make a list of links to all of your applications and (job)ban appeals, including whitelist and staff apps, within the last year. Also, provide "Ban reason; Verdict" beside each (job)ban link:[/list]
This is my first application and i don't have have any ban appeal

Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines? Yes i understand,no one is above the server rules

Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
Yes i totally understand how the battlefield execution works,it is one of the most important tools that commander has under his hand and it must be used only when there is an extreme threat that put in great risk the crew or the mission.

Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
Yes i do understand,no one is above the law and even the commander has to command without breaking under rules for avoid harming the crew in any way

What do you think is the job of a Commander? I think the commander is a pretty important role to the round as leader also RP character that helps to contribute to create and unforgettable story.
The commander is a leader, whats a leader? a leader is a person who influences a group of people towards the achievement of a goal and the goal is complete the mission with the best methods possible.
The commander by its meaning is one who leads by example, so that others are motivated to follow him by his example. As i see this is a basic requirement as commander.

If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
I am putting this in three big categories:

Level 1-Low threat:I will start calling him/her then i gonna go to a private room or something, for talk to him/her in private for avoid any under our command to hear and see the command staff having problems and this could cause a problem to future of the mission.

Level 2-Medium threat:If my staff member keeps disobeying my orders i would call the MPs and this would be resolved without violence and a demotion would be handed to that staff member to avoid any further problem.

Level 3-High threat:It en-dangers the mission or the crew this would be handed with a battlefield executio,as commander i will not allow to any member to risk the lives of my staff
an example would be PFC starting a mutiny using the violence or a PFC that keeps shutting down the dropship shutters and keeping the others outside when the LZ is actually overrun

Why should you be whitelisted?
I should be whitelisted because i have a lot of experience in the field,i have four years in the server,so i plenty understand how the marines minds works under pressure.
I have been playing every role, starting with the basic marine to the important XO,so i understand how every role works and i will use this info for keep the departments working like a new clock also i like leading using the basic leadership skills like is communication, motivation, trustworthiness and delegating for being an example and make the others to become better using my example and at same time i become better using their feedback.
Thanks for reading!

+1 Mike has been around for years, longer than most, this is his third ship and he's always been a good leader and a good marine, he's an obvious choice for commander.

Clearly, you are one of the players who could handle CO, but, in-game, have not seen you as XO, SO, or SL... or any where in general. I know that you have been around for some time but CO is a big deal.

Questions are well answered.

Staying Neutral for now, I would like to see other people's responses before I contribute to a 1+, though.

Good luck.

Pretty much sums it up for me. Mike is great, the only slight concern I have is grammar wise but that doesn’t matter a whole lot to me.

+1 Mike can handle commander with ease.

I think Mike will do well. He's always great to RP with, and apparently quite a good SL.

+1 for Mike.
Player of Rain Winterson and Winter Silverson.

Not terribly robust, but will give runners bananas.

Im with lukey on this, im a neutral, leaning -1. Ive never seen you command and while being a veteran of the server is good. Showing your leadership style as XO/SO is important to becoming a CO.

I will be watching in the next week or so, I really hope you take this opportunity and role XO/SO a bunch.

Haven't see you in the command roles very often, I have seen you plenty times in game but it's usually roles not involved with command. However, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt due to how long you've been around since I'm sure you picked up something useful for command. +1

Mike has been around and made enough of an impression that I'm aware of the character.

I'd +1 this, but instead I will just approve it.
