[Manufacturing details]

-Nicole was designed for assistance in hazard environments and interpersonal skill. She was given subtle attributes of friendliness to assist with her ability to appear more human in interaction, as such she will go out of her way to assist others. We have deemed this model's individual personality as BT1 ["Buddy" Trait 1]. Additionally, this unit's hair is to appear dyed, to assist in creating this image. Noted by Overseeing technician "Will Samuels"

-Right eye optic initially damaged during manufacturing, Underwent minor refurbishing, no further notations on manufacturing. Noted by QA engineer "Mary Salinas"

[Initial Deployment details 2178]

- Upon activation, Nicole was immediately sent as a negotiator in leiu of a human to a UPP ship spotted offcourse in USCM territory. This measure was taken to ensure no human lives were placed at risk. The crew notes that "she" [hereon referred to as], disarmed the situation with a demonstration of skill, Five finger fillet. The UPP were impressed, allowed her to provide assistance in the repair of their malfuntional guidance system, and were without hostilities escorted outside of the operational area.

- Nicole was sent planetside to assist a detachment of marines in the relief efforts of a colony reporting major technical and engineering issues below. While the marine detachment secured the area, she repaired their geothermal gas network, which the colonists below struggled to repair due to its extreme toxicity and temperatures. Sustained minor external melting and singes. Which she herself repaired. Suspected CLF sabotuer below attempted to shoot her, but was subdued by marines.

[Extended service 2179 - 2183]

- Nicole is noted several times in the ships psych surveys. Crew members report they feel they can confide in her, and have at times noted that she fulfills demonstrations of skills and strength in an effort to entertain them

- Nicole appears to have an affinity for engineering. She has assisted in various reconstruction and relief efforts, and assistance with the crew in solving efficiency issues around the ship. She spends a lot of time in research, but makes herself available whenever possible

- She is noted as being deployed in this 4 year span a total of 13 times. Each deployment to be listed chronologically below, from old to new;

- The corperate liason aboard reports he scolded her for assisting in repairing firearms in the requisitions department. Noting that any expertise or interactions with firearms made them "uneasy". Noted for posterity sake.

How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?

I intend to play as a friendly assistant. More aptly, my quirk could be described as "hearty". Known to appear as friendly and personal as possible, without the appearance of overly "professional". I intend to limit this to some degree to give the feeling of a synth, trying to 'get to know you'. To counteract this somewhat assertive trait, she will tend to find ways to "make it up" to crewmates. More in line with bishop than david.


How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)

I am very familiar with MT, and commanding roles, and have a passing familiarity with medical roles.

Why should we whitelist you?

I tend to have an emphasis on the overall RP of the round- and will try to foster as much of that as possible.

I think that the backstory you provided does a very effective job at showing how you intend to play Nicole. It isn't really so much a story as it is a collection of information which I think is a neat spin on the backstory section, it gave me some SCP vibes if anybody knows what that is.

The rest of your app was very short. I think something that will be brought up at some point (as it was in mine) is that your reason for being whitelisted is extremely short. The reason you gave isn't a bad one, however I think it would be a good idea to expand on it further to add some more meat to you application so to speak.

I like the story, it shows a good deal of how Nicole works and what she's good with. I think her play style would help add more variance to the Synth list overall. Nicboone does a lot of hard work as a dev for the server and doesn't get to spend that much time playing on the server as some of us do so I'd gladly let him get accepted so he could enjoy getting to play Synthetic when he has the free time. +1 as for as I'm concerned. The player in question, Nicboone, is pretty fantastic. He is very talented at RP and including others in it, as well as generally a great guy OOCly. I feel like he has the exactly right mindset to play synth; he knows that he doesn't have to be at the center of everything, which I've found is an incredibly important aspect to being a "good" synth.

I like the format of the story, it's not flashy but there's a lot of effort in it, and it's very effective at describing nicole. However, I do think that you may want to tone down on the "friendliness", or find a way to make it more synth-y. My synth oscar is pretty friendly, but more so through just being generally polite rather than actively buddy buddy. I have a feeling you can pull this off anyways, but just keep in mind to still be synth-y. Bishop was a cool guy, but he wasn't aggressively friendly either.

The other sections are a little short, but the backstory very efficiently conveyed info makes up for it.

But you made a typo once in your story, so I'm gonna say this is the worse app I've ever read -. oh w8 lmao who cares about that1
