Well, nothing more I can do about the format and such, it's pretty much a reskin of what it could be, tried to do something different with its formatting of the story however. Though I guess log files are abit different. As for more reading into my nobleman case, I look to be more of a rude-style, trying to act noble and the like such as peasant or serf in order to rile the marines to continue on. As for the recent trend of Synthetic quirks, I didn't really read everyones quirks and I was thinking of this synth quirk for a long time since I became a medical person.

As for my medical roles, I've done my fair share on other duties throughout the ship albeit I'd say my weakest would be engineering, though that does not make unable to do the job. Since this character is different the usual "Make a character!", I'd try my best to stick to that role due to it being a high RP role. We could be just seeing each other at wrong times or not at all, but I do play other roles that are either behind or in the front in the Almayer like REQ or CE.

With you advice, it's seems more as of an opinion than an advice as *you* find that your specific playstyle is fun. It's fun to play and gets along with other marines, and I can understand that. Many synths focus on being more obedient with a fun-loving attitude or a happy attitude as those attitudes tend to have easier results to have marines listen to you. I aim to be rude to where marines may be dismissive of my presence but appreciates my being there, it may sound nonsense. Synths tend to act happy to where any actions are seen sociopathic or dull in the atmosphere of what's to come. My quirk aims to be rude to the marines yet act as a "big sister" or "parent" like a noble person, rude on the outside but they aim to please others. Not a direct role, but that's how I hopefully become as a synth.

If you want more eye appealing stuff, I would've made more story, but I believed it would be too long for a synth story comparing. Though having someone make that comment when I made the story to be more standing out really striked me, I hope to make a story to your tastes if this doesn't go through

Good day!
If you find that playstyle fun and engaging then I have no issue with it, I should've phrased that to be more of a question as to whether or not you'd think that you'd get tired of having a certain speech style. If for example I had to type in an english accent for my synth quirk every single round I would probably get tired of it, but if you wouldn't that's totally fine.

I have no doubt by the way that you're an active or competent player, like I said I know you to be a solid medic and any lack of knowledge of your character isn't on you, I haven't been that active recently so don't take me not knowing you as a criticism or anything, I just think it's important to address given that knowledge on how a player RPs in game is a huge part of any whitelist.

Length of the story really isn't an issue, you can totally pack a really great backstory into just a few paragraphs. I'd recommend taking a look at Maniac's story for an example. Despite being pretty short it does a fantastic job at showing they know how a synth should act and talk while also displaying the stark contrast between human and syntheic attitudes. So long as you can put something together that is quality and shows how you intend to play your synth it's a fine backstory in my eyes.

Also, thank you for clarifying your quirk a little bit, when I read "polite noble person" it worried me as synths should be polite out of the box. In your response you said that you aim to be rude to marines, but the application says that you'd be polite so I'd be curious for more information there. Would Cynthia be polite and courteous to specifically the officers and people of power while being snobbish and rude to those she sees as lower class? Because if that's the case I'd say that's a really interesting quirk and I'd be happy to support it.

I'm sorry, I might have exaggerated on that politeness, or at least didn't put any details through behind it. It's exactly how you made it sound, more of a tamed version on officers while marines are more over a lower treated less than others. As I said, she'd act as royalty, so she would see things by class/rank/status and in that case, it would be marine rank in itself. Treating PFC's as peasants to treating the CO as the Ruler while this plays with multiple roles to how a synth should act like ignorance or the amount of rude I can do as a synth, it'd non offending at the least. Though the story doesn't explain much as I said I would have made it longer, but I couldn't really fit every role in the style I wanted it to be because I find that dialogue scripts or just a plain story to be uninteresting. The story and goals revolved around the marines, so I couldn't really show off most of my synth quirk.

The marines in the story were considered important therefore they were in need of a constant of somesort of this situation. While I barely could explain in either question must've slipped my mind and thought it'd be the best explanation in my head. Cynthia would act as snobbish to those considered "Low" such as PFC's while treatment is to civilians is different to where it's respect, but it's only needed. Just a big political weather going on, as if they would make synths based on the politics of stuff, heh.

But the basic gist is that Cynthia would act more differently between every role instead of a monotone emotion throughout each and every role.

Thank you for the clarification, that quirk totally sounds like something that would be fun to see and it's also unique. While I think the story could be stronger I think that it at the very least shows that you're putting effort into the application so even if it doesn't necessarily show off your quirk in a perfect way I think that your explanation fills in the gaps nicely. Additionally it seems that other players whose opinions I respect have given their support and can vouch for your ability to RP in game and be a beneficial player to the community.

Though horribly unrobust they're not the worst roleplayer, infact they're pretty good. Combined with the great detail and effort that went into the backstory aswell as additional information given whether it be on the original post or in replys to curious players yearning more info about the character this overall is looking good.
