Synthetic Character Story (An ADEQUATE description and story of your Synthetics actions and involvement in a previous mission onboard the Almayer):

The two “The Company” employers John and Adrian are browsing through the company recordings of synthetics. They are looking for information that could be useful in improving newer generation models of synthetics. It is a very boring job, so bear with them.
John: “Recording #2:4, it contains a conversation between the synthetic Grey and the command at that time on Almayer.”
Adrian: “Punch it in”
John proceeds to insert the data file into the data screen.
“%&/#... !#¤”#¤…. )/.”
John: “A little tap should do”
“#%/&%...” *thump*

Grey blinks. He blinks every four seconds, or it would be odd, unhuman like. A quick glance around the room shows the usual command center. The Lieutenants are working their consoles, smoking cigarettes and screaming at the top of their lungs. The Executive is facing the Commander and by all looks, he is getting a stern talking. The Commander himself has gone through his fifth unhealthy snack and the last few hairs on his head have turned grey. All in all, the mission is not going well.
“I guess we all die in the end after all” whispers Grey.
The Commander whips his head around and stares. The Executive is pleased that the attention turned away from him and wipes the sweat from his forehead.
“What did you just say?” demands the Commander.
“I said we all die, sir. I believe fifty people has died from when we woke up in the cryopods and up to this point” he explains.
“Fifty! Why haven’t I been informed of this? I thought we were just being pushed back, not obliterated!” The Commander growls at the Executive and he seems to shrink against the laws of nature.
“It is a small number, sir. Thirty-six million people die of hunger every year.”
The Commander glances at the snack bar packings scattered around his desk. Grey just continues staring.
“I need this victory for my promotion!” yells the Commander as he sweeps the trash on his desk away, discreetly.
Grey nods.
“Fuck! Call the evacuation. We’re calling in for reinforcements.” says the Commander as pulls out the two remaining hair strands that were sticking by pure will to his head.
“That would reduce the amount of lives lost, sir. Should I go assist?” says Grey as he blinks.
*Recording cuts*

Adrian: “Got anything a little more exciting?”
John: “Maybe this one, Recording #3:24 Grey is on ground and building a FOB”
Adrian: “Seen a thousand of those, they always disappoint”
John: “Whatever.”
John removes the former recording and inserts the new one.

Grey is assisting on the Forward Operation Base. It is a menial task, but that thought does not cross his mind. It does cross the mind of the Corporal standing five meters away, setting up a metal barricade. The marine ended up here by a random selection and he is bored out of his mind and hoping he did not forget his cards. Grey notices this deteriorating morale and laziness, this could result in marines losing lives.
“At least one person died to mine this metal” prompts Grey.
“Shut the fuck up, I just want to finish this.” responds the marine.
“Many people are born mute, they can never talk to anyone.” says Grey as he finishes setting up the first barricade. He looks at it satisfied or, so it seems.
“You’re fucking weird, could you stop talking?” growls the marine.
“If you want me to.” nods Grey.
“Yes, I just fucking said it. Didn’t I?”
Grey nods again and starts shoveling the hundreds of sandbags lined up. He affixes a hard-working look. This is going to take him five minutes according to his calculations. In that time frame the marine will have assembled ten barricades. The marine stretches his back and looks out upon the endless field not yet covered by defenses.
“Why did I get picked for this shit” says the marine with a deep sigh.
“You were picked at random, it was a 5.311% chance of getting picked.” says Grey dusting off his hands, while moving to assist the marine with the last few barricades.

John: “We have to go through them all at some point.”
I would explain my quirk as Debbie Downer. I will be employing sad comments about the situation or life, as long as they do not interfere with the guidelines and hopefully they will seem somewhat funny in an OOC perspective. The operation could be going well, we’re winning and I’ll start throwing out some comments about our casualties and the amount of lives it cost to get here.
I’ll assist wherever I’m needed, but with the ability to choose, I would pick Engineering or Overwatch. I know these areas very well, so I can auto-pilot them and focus more on the roleplaying aspect of Synthetic.
I also intend to play some more doctor in the coming days, so that I have basic knowledge of how to do surgery.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
My best is around Engineering or Overwatch. I know those two better than my own mother at times.
Science and Medical would be lowest points. I have played a fair deal of field medic, so I have no problem stabilizing patients, but I haven’t tried actual surgery yet. Surgery shouldn’t be a major issue for me though, as I have played a lot of doctor on other servers, so I just need a little assistance from the wiki.
Cargo is fairly simple, so yeah, I know it.
Why should we whitelist you?
I focus on roleplaying and intend to give other people the experience of my character. I like trying new things and I figured that synthetic was the next step in the line, so I looked at the whitelist and saw a bunch of cheerful and happy synths. An idea started forming and I figured it might be fun. My characters may be eccentric, but it seems others enjoy them and that’s what is most important for me. I have certainly improved my activity since my last synthetic application and I still yearn for that robotic roleplaying. I may not be the best at writing stories, but saying that I do not put everything into my characters would be a lie.
I'll do my best to make the round enjoyable for those interacting with me.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Was banned for EORG when I first joined the server two years or so ago. Been pretty much clean since then.
