A farewell from McRipfist

I have reached out to those I could concerning my leaving but I'm sure there are many whose names are forgotten to me, or were never known. With this departure I do not plan on a return in the near future.

This is farewell is to all the marines out there that I fought besides, to the marines who dragged me to safety, to the Doctors who healed me, to the Corpsmen that kept me alive, to the marines I FF'd or took FF from, to the xenos I killed, to the xenos who killed me. To all the players who's ahelps I took, and to all the players who I taught the basics to.
Thank you for it all.

I may not be remembered fondly by you all of you, nor do I assume that all those friendly salutations were in full the truth but this will remain a fond memory to me, and just being here was a unique time. No where else can this sort of experience be had and it was for the most part a damn good experience. Hopefully as the sands of time blow, I can return peacefully.

None of us are heroes.

I myself am no better than the next guy, having done my fair share of shitty things both IRL and in game. However, being aware you done wrong is a good quality to have.

I do hope that you will be able to find your own peace and redemption soon enough.
