Going away for a few months

I'm leaving very soon to go work in a rural town in Japan where I won't have a computer to play CM.

I'm sitting back and looking back on all the good times I've had on this server. I was truly lucky to find this small little niche game that has such a wholesome community. Apop has done an amazing job with CM, and finding the right people to make the magic happen. There are a lot of talented and dedicated members of the team that make this game what it is. If the game wasn't so punishing and hardcore, victories wouldn't feel so damn sweet as they are, and I love that.

I'm going to be excited to see what kind of new content will be added and what kind of new people will be around when I come back, and I hope to see some familiar faces when I come back. I honestly believe this game is in it's golden age. It's not going to last forever. Devs and members are going to move on eventually, as is good things don't last forever. I hope that when I come back the game will still be kicking and strong as beautifully as it is now. The game has never been as polished as it is now. BMC is doing a damn fine job at making it an enjoyable game despite the regular, constant saltiness he faces from the playerbase. He keeps strong to what he knows is best, and it always turns out damn good in the end.
