Taking a vacation from the drama

You know, I didn't really plan for this... But after recent events, I think it is time to head off for awhile.

All the internal bickering within the staff ranks worries me of this server's future, what with a good number of important staff members leaving for one concerning reason for another. It was one thing to have Feweh get the boot for supposed drama spreading on Reddit, and it was pretty intense after Apop's pedo drama some time ago, but with the recent news that I had gathered about Nic's resignation and BMC's following quitting of the team, I fear for the stability of the server as a whole.

I'm just not liking this environment a whole lot, and that is saying something considering all the bullshit I have to endure as is. I am starting to lose faith in the team that runs the server (no offense), feeling that things are just going to get messier from here, and probably even result in the server's fall from grace into the pit that Hippie and Goon now reside.

So, until things stabilize and I feel comfortable enough to come back, I'm going to find another server to play on for awhile, maybe return to Paradise and struggle to fit in to civilian life (which will be hard due to how this combat server made me so used to military life), or maybe I'll find another server to diddle on. How long will I be gone? I dunno, depends. If I can't find a suitable replacement, maybe a matter of weeks. Or maybe it might be a few months. Whatever the case, I wanna try and stay away for a good long while if I can help it until I am CERTAIN of the server's stability. Provided, that is, it is still in good shape when I come back, if ever.

I admit I'm gonna miss a lot of folks here, even the ones I don't completely gel with. And no doubt a few people are gonna miss having weenie around. I know this seems like a stupid reason to leave the community for awhile, but I just can't help but feel the bad mojo spreading all around and spoiling the friendly image that I once knew and loved. It would feel awkward, I guess...

So, for at least a few weeks minimum, hopefully a few months, I'm gonna poof to a greener pasture and take a break from the marines. No doubt I'm gonna miss it an awful lot, and might even struggle to resist the urge to pop on for just one game... But I think it would be best to take a proper break and let the negative atmosphere fizzle out first (or at least forget it had one).

u make it sound like the end of the world lol, ppl retire all the time for many reasons, easy come easy go, im sure everything will be sorted out in like 3 days lol, also 'leaving till it becomes stable' is a bad mentality imo, ppl need to stay and stable it themselves, not run away.
