Adios Space Cowboys

(Excuse the overly dramatic post, don't wanna be a Reno here but ya know it's a good bye)

It's been a long time coming. For this entire year really I've had this prepared. As y'all probably know, my activity in game and on the forums has drastically decreased over the past two months, really.

I took a long look at why I was still here. The community I once knew is almost long gone, the gameplay I grew used to is completely changed. Everything is so different, so new. I've made this type of post before, but I made it on a whim, without really thinking. I tried to enjoy the game, I tried to get into the community again. But I dunno, it's all grown stale and uninteresting, and at the same time different and alien.

I was thinking, I'd make this post next year or sometime later, but with all the people leaving, people who came in AFTER I came in, I thought just why am I still here? It isn't to play, I barely play, it isn't to change anything, it isn't to make new friends or compatriots. Why? I've been chasing one goal since I started, literal first thing I went after and the ONLY reason I got into these forums in the first place. But that goal is long past, stale and something I just don't even really want to achieve anymore.

Everything is too new, I'm just stuck in the past I guess. A past which is long, long gone.

Hope the game continues improving, and I hope that people even remember me. I might be back next year, but I don't really think that's gonna happen unless something major changes.
