Good.

Also it looks like we, non-staff users, don't have access to that poll you linked, Rahl.

This is likewise where bramb began saying he lives in albania. They additionally continued pinging me with the albanian banner. They called me female. They called me gay. They said I have down disorder. They called me different names too. Also, bramb said he lives in albania when he professes to live in The Netherlands too. Lying again.

So officially, you can be married, just not have a wedding, yeah? Just clarifying. That I 100% agree with. Weddings are cringe.

Any thoughts on an exception for survivors? If two survivors decide their relation I'd be fine with it, but I'm all for forbidding marriage between marines.

Also the ability for the CMP to authorize lethal force seems to have been removed on the marine law page. I felt that this was originally put in for the case that an armed marine or survivor has become hostile to the crew. I'm curious why this was removed because I've never seen MPs use lethals, and felt that this rule was only there for special occasions like events that bring situations like this up.

MPs can use lethal force but its generally a last resort, such as dealing with mutineers breaking in to the CIC

It has been removed from arrest procedures so I'm unsure where in marine law this is allowed.

It looks like its just an oversight, marine laws trying to be as condensed as possible so they removed a lot of content and reworded a lot.

I'll talk to SLT about it but its pretty much always been a thing. (However its rarely used because non lethals are better, you'd only use your lethal to eliminate the downed person.

Might be best to have a support roles should not be on the front line rule, or accompanying marine squads, or such, it's being handled as that already and they shouldn't be doing that. Probably best to list it as well. Could just be the support roles should not leave the fob again as that's the only place that can be safe and sometimes not even that,

I get the impression that rule was dropped specifically so the MTs could follow the tank around, which is a thing they really do need to be able to do. I might actually suggest preventing MPs specifically from leaving the FOB, though, to avoid "flangbang the front lines to arrest one marine" incidents?

I disagree wholeheartedly with that rule. Weve seen MTs and doctors be able to sucessfully move up to support areas on numerous maps to assist the marine force.

Readding the rule is getting to be to the point where we return to the old rules even more and more. I think that it should be covered under marine law and not rules.

More that they shouldn't be fighting on the frontline, they're going to be warned if that's all they're doing and it essentially sits as an unwritten rule if it isnt noted then.

Well ofc there is that, but if the MT is sitting there repairing the tank and rifles some benos that get to close, its still a support role.

I don't think this is necessary. I really haven't seen any support roles going to the frontlines for no reason, certainly not enough for it to be a problem. It may just be coincidence that I haven't seen it and there's actually a problem with it, but from what I have seen it's just MTs maintaining the tank and the occasional Field Surgery from a doctor. It seems like any specific rule would catch a lot of people being actually useful as a support role near the frontlines and not really have a positive impact otherwise. I haven't seen anyone just wander off to shoot aliens, and if the problem is about MPs getting people killed with frontline arrests then that's already basically covered under Grief.

Can we please get official confirmation that inside ALL preperation areas is secure for the purposes of unsecured equipment? So Ye Old SL Flamer meme can finally be dead once and for all? I have had several mods say it isn't valid, and several say it is.

Can you elaborate? Are you saying MPs are coming down on people putting equipment on the floors of the preparation areas while they get geared up?

Sl's putting flamers on the ground outside their prep rooms and being warned/arrested for it is the main thing.

Before marine law was rewritten to be more compact, people leaving equipment on the floor outside their prep rooms was a specific example given of a violation of the unsecured equipment law. The law suggested to give equipment to people directly instead
