Considering rules on the CL have been loosened, I wouldn't want them to not be executable.
They should still be executable, just not battlefield executable imo.

I’d say anyone that has to follow marinelaw should be BE proof. AKA MP/CMP/Synth should be immune to BEs only. This is because they are following marinelaw and should have at no time be in a situation where they should be a threat to the mission.

I don't think it should be against the rules OOC to BE the CL or medical staff, but it should be considered murder IC unless the CO can demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that the operation was in jeopardy in addition to normal BE rules.

Researchers and especially CLs can do a lot of damage if left to their own devices, and sometimes the delay it would take for MPs to contain would prove too late. It's exceedingly easy for a rogue CL to run to his office, close the shutters, fax WY, and then disappear into maint with their almost all-access ID. By allowing the CO to cut them off before they can potentially summon a PMC squad would only seem right. Of course, the CL calling the CO a name doesn't jeopardize the operation but threatening to unleash contained xenos or sabotage the operation would require a swift response that the MPs can't always meet.

Number one. Faxing Wey Yu for PMCs never works. Plainly put.

Second of all the MPs are there for a reason. Executing a civilian simply isnt needed.

That is something I feel need clarifying. Do you mean literally only marines can be BE’d and civilian staff are safe from it alongside MPs?

Can we also talk about discord rules?

Because those need some serious relaxing. General channel is a barren wasteland nuked by discord mods, and a lot of channels like #stellars and #warframe are just vestigial and would work fine in off topic.

Also please stop warning non-staff who actually answer questions correctly in staff help. If they fuck up tho warn the shit outta em.

It can make the round more interesting, but it's mostly confusion stemming from the presentation of the game. Character was facing up, was sitting in a chair - barely could see their character model. Looked at them, saw the name, so I mistook them for the CO. I'd expect a CMP to be able to tell a CO apart from other people by sight alone, not just what ID they have in their pocket ;).

Yeah okay. So there’s a few things I want fixed on the rules page as it screws with RP and needs to be fixed before this goes through IMO. This is adding to the previous things I’ve brought up and should be clarified and rewitten.

Is minor racism still allowed??? The only mention of it is Rule 2. And this stated
“Don’t be a dick - Harassment, racism, bigotry, homophobia, giving out spoilers, exploiting bugs, cheating, hacking, and just plain being an asshole. Don’t do it. We’re here to have fun”

Based on this it seems like racism/sexism/bigotry/homophobia isn’t allowed entirely as it breaks rule 2. Not even IC can it be done as it breaks this rule. This needs clarified or set to say “OOCly not allowed” or something similarly.

Secondly

Rule 6 of “English only”
I feel this is too short and ruins any IC aspect of those who use minor non-English phrases as an aspect of their characters. The lack of clarification or mentioning of its use and enforcement while moderators can understand, many players may not understand or be restricted with the rule implementation.

On the ERP/18+ rule I think it should be listed that any instance of this type of offense being done on the server would be met with a permaban. As that’s how it typically is received and is dealt with.
This also goes with Metacommunications and Multikeying.

I will add to this when I find more problems.

6. English only
So does this mean people can't roleplay with Spanish/German/Russian heritage and using simple phrases like Mein Gott, Ay Caramba, Nyet, etc... anymore?

might as well keep the mutiny rules less strict

some of the most interesting gameplay was marines ganging up with their buddies, sick and tired of command, and going all cyka blyat on command, winning, only to get gibbed by the xeno dropship

or command beating back a mutiny and trying to figure out how to still win despite half of command having broken bones, no head, or undefibbable

prob just me tho, but mutinies and human v human is more interesting both in interaction and in combat than human v xeno

I have to agree with Swagile on this, rounds with mutiny are always fun but unfortunately rare. We should've less restriction to mutinies especially in the number of people needed and the "non-lethal" policy.

I'd be wary of making them too easy, though, especially on lowpop rounds that may not have very many MPs. "Murder command" should never be the immediate go-to response to every problem and, if it becomes that, then CO's are going to resort to BEing everyone and everything early in order to stop it. Especially since a mutiny, successful or otherwise, greatly increases the chance of a marine loss due to casualties or just general disruption.

No one here said anything about making mutinies very easy to happens, it's a common sense that mutinies usually ends in a blood bath and xeno major. But now the mutinies reached a point of rarity that most of players don't even care about it because its not anymore a danger or risk.
Stabilizing the happening of mutinies to a point where it becomes a sort of danger would be a great way to keep COs/XOs in the line.

Rhal one of the major concerns im seeing is that between ranks and MPs. The way I and many others see it. Is the CMP and the MPs are still within the chain of command and must follow orders as long as its not a matter of the law.

But lately i and many others are seeing, is CMPs who take a high and mighty stance saying they dont have to listen to/respect the CO as they outrank the CO. MPs do that as well. Ive been thrown out of the brig by MPs while trying to talk to one of my imprisoned men because "Im trespassing" In the brig i have access to. or am "Interfering with brig operations" When I go down there as CO. I think with this new rule change something needs to be made completely clear.

the CMP IS outranked in all matters not regarding marine law and must still follow orders, same as the MPs. And that they are NOT higher ranked than the XO or CO. CMP should be a tool in the COs toolbox, not an annoying prick who wants to shaft command. Its akin to self antagging.

15 - .., but they are not required to enforce an unlawful act unless ordered by a superior.
I'm not native speaker but first I thought "enforcing an unlawful act" means to force someone to do something unlawful. And I think the couple results on google means that. Could it be worded differently?

With new ID rules, can I for example pass my ID as SL to a standard to fetch me something from my prep while I'm under surgery?

Is there a deployment rule for non-combat personnel still in there? If so I didn't catch it.

I don't see how this is possible. The CO clearly outranks all MPs. That MP should be Adminhelped for Insubordination since they broke the (new) server rules.

This. Allowing just one person to mutiny means the CO constantly has a target on his back for something that might not have been his fault to begin with. A single person can be confused, misled, or just an asshole. A group can talk it out and get answers, then decide.

At the very least a group is more noticeable and action can be taken against them in a way that a one man Rambo could go undetected.

I couldn't care less what people do with powerloaders. If they're too OP they'll get balanced. If you have a roleplay reason, fight with them on the ship, or bring one down to the planet to help move things around.
