[Ammo] AP SL

Post by Swagile » 20 Feb 2017, 16:59

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Put all the AP rounds you can get in marine prep, divide by four, and give that number to each SL in their prep vendor.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): The SL can now give AP to those he thinks aren't completely retarded / new and or when they actually NEED AP, instead of having newbie marines pick all AP then FF a marine so hard that they are out of the round for a minimum of ten minutes, maximum forever if medical is bad.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Reward good marines with AP by a SL who is possibly competent and puts it out of standards hands.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding.

Then well, the AP rounds would have to be buffed, considering there's such a small amount compared to normally.

From my experience, unless the marine player is good, AP kills or hinders marines more than xenos ever could.

I dunno, if only SLs had AP ammo, what are the chances that a baldie SL is just going to hoard all the ammo to themselves?

Honestly, I wish there was a better way to evenly distribute AP for all the marines rather than the current "rush to get a mag of AP before some assshit takes all the mags for himself and dies in a ditch somewhere, never to be seen again with his bag of AP mags just as a crusher comes in and hands you your ass".
Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.
