Queen's-anti-grenade-spam

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Queen can be killed very easily, just by throwing some grenades at her and it just won't let it stand up. Don't you think 3.5 high meters long creature getting stunned by a grenade is a bit strange?

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Queen's won't die so easy, we don't want Queen to die SO easy, right?

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I am not asking for Queens resistant to SADAR or that can't fall down in the crit, I am asking for Queens, that can't fall down because of grenades spam.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): -

P.S. Maybe make all T3 resistant to stun from grenades, hm?

Put warding on from either queen herself or mature/elite prae and the queen takes more than the grenade launcher has in its storage

Now I can understand the queen.. but all T3? No. Please. God no. They are pretty hard to kill already, and you can dodge grenades super easily, most of the time. ESPECIALLY T3. And ehm.... "also, I"? Yeah sorry. No.

Stop charging into 8-12 marines alone, maybe?

Or be meta and put on Frenzy and run away as soon as they start flinging grenades - they're a fairly limited resource.

Only one guy can use SADAR.

The damage of grenades is not that high, hence why they are mostly used for dat stun babe

See my post! I discharged a full cartrid of ammo on the Queen, 95% of the bullets hit her and she still shrugged it off! And just before that I had killed an Elite Spitter!1!1!!11

This gotta be tested out before implementing such thing

That's a good idea, but hardly what happens.

Tbh, I have never touched a hand grenade in my month and half of playing here at CM, and I only see grenades being used by either under barrels weapons or by a GL user (Yes, I have seen more GL users than touched a grenade) and this is pretty...impratical?

Spamming grenades only to deal high damage, is better just load AP and use it, abadoning grenades altogether.

We tried stun resistance from explosions for t3's for a bit, it basically made it impossible to die as a Rav.

A good Queen is nearly invincible, An Elite Queen with Guard phermones, some eggs nearby, sticky resin and wall and they're GODS! Not to mention her screech which is almost full screen distance and it could use for different things like running away or assaulting a big group etc.. But what a Queen really needs is a speed boost, but I don't really vote for that because the CM still needs a lot of rework and constant changing. So I think the Queen should be strong af while giving nerfs to small tier aliens, but that's just not right for the poor runners who die with a single buckshot.

A good queen can easily avoid being UGL spammed. Just don't run into a squad of marines for a screech and expect no retaliation.

Use your Hive to your advantage, make Crushers move in first, or use a Ravager at the front lines as a distraction as you screech in behind them. Warding pheremones keep Queens from dying and making them essentially a better tank than the Crusher, hence stunning them is the only way to kill them. Removing the stun will see Combat Queens wiping out entire squads, solo. Thats not a good idea; the Queen draws her support from the Hive, and should not be soloing, hence the current stun mechanics discourage the Queen from trying such a tactic.

Stun from SADAR and crit still should work. You have rifles, you have grenades spam to deal high damage, you have SADAR. But grenade spam is too unbalanced.

Well, maybe I am not lucky because both times all aliens who were attacking with me ran away when I got stunned...

here's a secret tip on how to keep your queen alive and not grenaded to death: don't have her recklessly charge in and screech at the front of every attack and expect the enemy to never try to prepare some kind of countermeasure

Well, countermeasures won't help is Queen will be supported, but ayyliens are just running away instead of protecting their queen, welp

One could argue against the meta of it, but running into grenade spam that's coordinated enough to kill a queen is almost always suicide, especially when you factor in the slowdown from dragging her out of harm's way (and the fact that she probably putz'd her screech, which is generally why she's eating all those nades in the first place). Losing a queen is bad enough, no point in also losing a bunch of t3s along with it.
