+1 from me, I always announced where my tunnels are going and good hivelord do, but being able to label tunnels is a much better option.

+1 Not only does it help with the WY compound, it can also help new xeno players understand where is everything.

Couldn't you take a 7x7 photo of the other end of the tunnel and have it show when the xeno examines it?

That would work brilliantly. If it could be implemented. Mostly because Xeno's share a hivemind. SO in THEORY no Xeno should actually have to ask where a tunnel leads, because they would KNOW. This would work, nicely. Along with being able to name it.
