At least some ammo types. MAR-40, all SMGs, revolvers and pistols. Usual hacked autolathe should be enough and it should cost a fair amount of metal, but not too much. Really, we should do something with marines running out of custom ammo (they even run out of usual ammo now and then), and our new black market ammo crates are too random. Ordered 16 so far and didn't get a single MAR-40 mag. Leave em for even more rare ammo types like SVD mags, and give out generic ones to autolathes. Ammo shouldn't be the most rare thing on board.

Or go full mode and give us all ammo types in autolathe, including most rare ones and usual USCM ammo (smart and rocket ammo). Prices for HPR, SVD and so like mags should be too high to print em on default set. Might as well add a good reason for researchers to patch those things up. And it won't shift cargo balance too much, since marines will be spending same amount of points on metal orders.

There's been some talk of this in dev, so I'm leaving it open for feedback. I'm personally mostly neutral on the idea. I think the black market crates basically does this already.

Thing is he's not wrong here, completely, but the crate only gives so much ammo really, and the scavenged planet guns need their ammo too. Too long have I picked up an autorevolver and not been able to use it much.
