In the case that a xenomorph decides to kill you as a survivor at roundstart, is that breaking rules or is it okay?
Unless told otherwise by the Queen, yeah it's allowed

Are you not allowed to disposal yourself to avoid an MP from capturing you, for example?
There is still ample time during paincrit for you to get to Medbay and ask the doctors to be hush hush about the whole thing.
Maybe it's the door acess that doesn't allow you to get to Medical before whatever it is that you tried to evade gets you.
I'd just like some head of staff clarification on this.

► Show Spoiler
I've seen other people doing it (hiding corpses as xeno) a lot lately and I remember it was not okay in the past. Is it okay now or are them xenos just being scum?

I'm no headstaff, but no. Jumping off the fourth floor of a building doesn't equal certain death, but no one in their right mind would jump just to evade the police.

RIght now, xenos can do whatever they want with corpses beside hiding them in lockers/disposals/stuff or damaging them somehow after they died. And bug abuse.

Is it power/metagaming if a runner/any xeno rushes into a FOB, slashes exactly one medevac stretchers, and then runs off only to repeat this until all medevac stretchers are broke or picked up without ever attacking any of the many wounded marines and medics?

Basically, this happened in a recent round:
I was a Delta medic on LV-624 and set up shop in a FOB just north of the river after the marines charged across it. Engineers set up barricades all around and after heavy fighting the marines took the fight further into the caves. Myself and other medics set up a triage area in that FOB where we dragged wounded marines to to treat and release or MEDEVAC. To medevac we had 4 strechers. One very tenacious runner kept probing our defences. He made it through eventually (acidified cades/open cades), ran straight for our strechers, slashed a few before anyone could react, and then ran off. The runner completely ignored the wounded, helpless marines, and the medics. Said runner did this a few times before we got the cades back up. It got to the point where we had to remove wounded from the strechers and pick them all up as soon as we saw a runner.

My question: Is this metagaming? I understand xenos attacking strechers ICly along with attacking FOBs, medics, and wounded marines in an assault, but I cannot wrap my head around xenos singling out medevac strechers and ignoring everything and everyone else in the FOB (including the marine IN the medevac strecher). Afaik xenos don't know what medevac strechers do unless they witness them lifting injured marines out, and even then the xenos shouldn't really know what happens to the evac'd marines.

Tl;dr: Can xenos attack medevac strechers only and ignore everything else, including the wounded marine who was in the medevac strecher

Got it haha. I'll make sure to buckshot cheeky runners in the face when they try to mess with my holy stretchers

Don't get me wrong, I like the extra challenge to the medic gameplay, I'm just curious about the RP reason behind allowing it :p

It really is annoying, but like. We can't enforce telling runners to focus on marines themselves specifically. It'd cause a ton of salt. See that ancient runner (420) that just slashed your medevac stretcher instead of slashing you? Better ahelp that. See the issue?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Didn't consider the ahelp salt that'd come from that. Thanks for the response and explanation! Appreciate it!

P.S. I'll keep my salt to deadchat haha

Can a commander indirectly BE someone? Such as telling a SO to shoot someone and declare it a BE?

No. The Commander must do it himself or else it will be considered an unlawful execution (murder).
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Would a BE count if the commander ordered the offending player to take a pistol and kill themselves before him, ala Just Cause 3?

Not only that is a unlawful execution, the SO could be bwoinked by improper escalation. And I believe the CO too, but not sure.

And Reno, no.

Just to further elaborate, it's an unlawful order which you are under no obligation to follow. Being ordered to murdersomeone by the CO is illegal and Can lead to a fax to HC for sure.

Are MPs allowed to strip prisoners (law breaking marines) out of the cells in the closets and then put them in the cell put the timer on and remove their handcuffs now?

From MP guidelines. They are meant to set timer before starting to strip your gear. Then put you on the cell bed and flash-remove/retrieve cuffs. The process hasn't changed. Just the locker being outside the cell now.

Still? Well alright, It's just that it's really confusing kind of cause you start the timer and the thing says that you're not supposed to unless the prisoner is in the cell or else the time doesn't count, but then the locker is outside the cell so it does count? But it doesn't say if the timer counts for that or not.
I mean I normally strip them, determine their time, put the suit on them put them on the bed, put that time into the thing if I hadn't already and then flash them, remove cuffs etc. But then again that's just me.

I require clarification, in the utmost detail available on this exact listed example of meta. ""Ramboing" - Chasing down aliens immediately after first contact directly to their hive." I have seen many metarushes, going from one squad bum rushing the hive, to a planned sweep of the tunnels in big red where the marines sent 2 squads into the caves to go around the outside of the map and find the hive before first contact, to even a moderator playing as CO ordering 3 squads of marines to crashed ship on prison, which promptly ended the round before the 45 minute mark. Maps like LV prevent any action against the hive till around that 50 minute mark. Without such things as the fog on every map. There must be a clear precedent established to clarify, what is a metarush, and what isn't. Something needs to give here and multiple times I have been told its not a metarush, yet clearly this example states any chasing after first contact is meta. Something has to give here.

I've heard people have been using a 'point-to resin-hole' macro to reveal resin traps without actually having to locate them, would that count as powergaming?
