I went to throw a incendiary grenade at a group of Xenos to burn em out.

..I proceed to then get spitted & napalm'd myself.

Equip a gyro shotgun for them close encounters just to have a rav steal both of your arms, proceed to get dragged into dorms and 4 xenos start spam caressing you until young runner (69) runs up and 2 hit slashes you, killing you.

Cant remember anything, everything i do is a master pro killer assassin machine perfomance.

Oh right, once saw a hunter and have made 10 shots before it ran away. None of them missed, but hunter was not injured. Was so embarassed that i had to simulate injury, return to ship and cryo myself.

If I have to chose, it would be between :

- First round of CM. Following Dolthgar (my mentor and cunt friend) to battle. Boiler launch gas. I thought it was only a smoke grenade thing. Died.

- Second round of CM. Following Dolthgar (my disappointed mentor and cunt friend) to battle. He had SADAR. He was killing so hard with his rockets. I covered him with buckshot shotty. Arriving to Lambda : he got screeched, I didn't. I shot. He stood up at this very moment.

Oh damn, I love being decent now. Not feeling any more the shame and the disappointment dagger stabbing my heart and my ego.. It's a sweet sweet feeling of auto-satisfaction.

Going a few months back, I recall being an SL and deploying at LV's LZ2 with my squad. We were tasked with scouting west. We moved into the jungle, only the spec and a private (Uriel) followed. Queue the spec getting pounced by a mature hunter, I go next to it to blast it with my shotgun.
*click*
Pump my shotgun, spec is KIA, Private chases off hunter. Move to back him up after calling for a medic. He gets pounced, line myself up, and fire.
*click*
Oh boy, my gun wasn't loaded, not just unpumped. Private dead, I get killed. They ask "SL what the fuck was that"

I didn't get revived, left the server, and went to go contemplate my stupidity.

Last night we decided to form knife squad. I filled both pockets, my belt, my armor, helmet and webbing with throwing knives, as well as my boot and a backpack.

Me, ValenBina and Solomon charged the enemy just for Val to stick me TWICE, Solo to get dragged off and for me to get gangraped while they stole Val.

Later that round my body was recovered and a researcher attempted to put my brain in a dead colonist.

Chasing Queen with Commander and two other Marines.

Have SADAR with AP loaded.

Have Queen lined up as the Commander moved into my line of fire.

Hit the CO instead of the Queen...

queen was rushing us and i primed a grenade and was about to throw it but screen-wide stun caught me at the very edge so the grenade blew me, the synth, and like 2 other marines up.

The Xenos were attacking Nexus, and being the wise one with a incendiary grenade. I went to throw it, till I slipped on a banana with a already primed grenade.. I was salty.

..Another grenade death *sighs*

I've never gotten a xeno kill from a grenade. I've gotten plenty of marine kills, but no ayy kills.

Every month or so, I decide to try a grenade again. And then I remember why.

I'd say this is more of a facepalm moment vs unrobust

I was with Delta squad attacking Tablefort on LV. We were pushing them back and I was kicking ass as a Standard. I had prepped my grenade launcher on my M41 to fire, and as I was looking for potential nade targets, I push up alittle too far, and out of nowhere a Facehugger RKO'd me out of a Resin hole. I wake up to being dragged back to Hydro by a Bravo Standard (cheers lad) and told I might wanna fuck off to the Almayer for surgery. So I fuck off and get surgery, come back down on the Alamo with like 7 other Marines. 4 of them are sitting by the MG emplacement on the bottom of the dropship. When we finally do land, I was sorting my inventory alittle bit before I heard the audable hunter pounce noise. I look down by the MG and see a fellow Delta (forgot name) pounced by a Young Hunter, so being the good teammate, I go to shoot the Hunter. When I did fire at the hunter, all I heard was a *PLOOM* sound. By then the hunter ran off. I was like ??? for a second then I heard a BOOM. I was like "..Awww fuck." and chat got full of salt, mainly.. "DID YOU JUST SHOOT A FUCKING GRENADE LAUNCHER ON THE DROPSHIP?!" or "I'M DEAF!!" My response only was "That I do.. That I did do.."

I facepalmed for a solid 5 seconds there.

I lost my arm as a squad marine and was on DS1 with a bunch of wounded. Some sneaky Hunter popped in the side and I armed only with a knife because some medic left my satchel with my pistol in it back at table fort stood at the door ready to stop him. He dragged me off and the dropship instantly took off so I was left behind and the hunter instantly cut off my head.

I slapped my macro for shotgun reloading at one point as a Smartgunner and didn't realize it until I slammed 3 rounds into an unfortunate marine in front of me.

Don't worry man, it totally makes the bullets do more damage.

I'd say attempting to take point from a smartgunner that intentionally turned off his IFF was a pretty unrobust experience for me. It certainly hurt a lot.

Went to take a swig of booze I found on the floor as I was running to the fight on the ship. Instead of drinking it I broke it over my head and set myself on fire due to a lit cigarette. I survived the burns but my pride did not. I decided to charge the xenos and die instead of get medical attention to alleviate my shame.

The Queen comes up and screeches, so you quickly prime a grenade to lob at her. Except the rest of the marines move forward and start pushing you around, so you throw the grenade to avoid having it blow up in your hand... Only to lob it directly into the group of marines that are at the front shooting at the xenos...

Was not my proudest moment.

He had obviously been doing his 100 pushups, 100 situps and 1 mile run. As a reward, I have him one of the trophies from the ship I carried with me. A double-bladed e-sword. He promptly died to a hunter.
I think the real most unrobust thing you've done was fucking try shooting an xeno on big red with your plasma caster as an elder pred, miss, hit the wall right next to you instead and blow yourself up instead. For now on whenever a predator does that I refer to it as "Pulling an Apop"

As a PFC I somehow managed to convince the Req Officer to give me a barrel charger and burst fire adapter. A squadmate, Pleasure Dome IIRC, then gave me a quickfire adaptor as well. I got around half a clip of utterly inaccurate shots off before being gored by a crusher still in LZ2 (I think, the one with the blast door and the only access being a small maint shaft) because it was Ice Underground.
