I've been playing this game for a bit and enjoying it. Unfortunately, I don't think there are too many videos of it on YouTube for folks that want to see what this game is about, especially when it comes to non-combat roles. So I figured I could start recording some rounds I play. These videos would also be useful in documenting various bugs I seem to stumble upon, so it would be a double win!

The videos are more of an "archival" play - I don't do voice-overs because I don't sound all that great . Also, I'm still learning the game, so expect suckage at times.

That being said, here are some of the videos from last week:

The Space Carp - a round as CMP where someone decides to breed some Space Carps... (video quality notably crappier due to bad recording)

Mobile Ice Hive - part of the xno round that lead to the uberturtle siege (video cut short due to recording error)

For the Booze! - a Marine round where Alpha fails to turn on power, then chases some xenos while the admins play a game within a game...

Nobody listens to the CMO - a CMO round where I yell at people to put masks on and try to keep the medbay running smoothly

The M Word - a CMP round, the infamous first round of the General Rules Day. See what shenanigans and madness befell us during our 6 mutinies!

The Draw - a xeno round that hung on the razor's edge to the very end. If anything, watch the roundend to see how close that game was...

The Tubes Ain't Workin' - a RO round, last round of the General Rules Only day, where everyone yells at each other for supplies that don't get delivered...

So yeah, I'll probably be posting more videos here as they come up. I'm hoping to showcase many different jobs you can have in the CM, to hopefully get more people interested in playing them.

Be advised, space-fish caviar is not the same as Earth-fish caviar. is a sentence I never thought I would say on CM. I was the WO that space carp round and watching it back from another person's perspective made me realize how bad I was at communicating.

If I have any advise to add is to cut down recordings to interesting or funny stuff and include copyright free music.

Well, maybe one day I'll do that. At the moment I'm still relatively new to making videos. Plus, sometimes people might be interesting to see how a game plays for a different role, or how people do things - I know I'd like to see someone competent playing roles I don't yet understand .

Don't lose that stamp - a squad medic shift that turns a little weird when he discovers a stamp lost by someone else. How much is that stamp worth?

Synth meat doesn't cook well - a busy CMO round

Advanced chemistry - doing some advanced chemistry, including Dr Rock's Miracle Elixir!

Tank in briefing - a tank rolls into briefing, and some robust survivors

Euthanasia by bullets - first round of the Server Rules Draft Day goes better than expected, until a murderer is on the loose!

Grenades, and drugs, and UPP, and predators oh my! - a Researcher round where I make grenades, drugs, keep a captured POW in research lab, and then experiment with predator gear!

Sorry about the perma - MPs vs a group of civilians that decide to arm themselves up, who would win?

Watching monkeys and doing drugs - making medicine, doing surgery, and imparting important knowledge about drugs onto a Researcher, in other words - a CMO round

Drugs won the day - playing a researcher in a round without MPs? You know what that means! Drugs for all! Someone even takes me up on that offer... Oh yeah, and Ultrazine saved the day.

Vaping Ultrazine - experimenting with Ultrazine and selling my soul to WY. Checkers was there too. What could possibly go wrong?

Deja vu - after a few restarts the reality finally settles. Now it's two researchers up to no good, making hard drugs and doing a small prank on the MPs

Synth Lives Matter - researching weird chemicals and eventually actually saving a few lives as a Researcher. One of those lives was not alive in the first place...

Gaius saves the Commander - a grunt fights the xenos, gets infected, but still manages to save the Commander. Will he get the treatment he needs before he dies?

Prison Sportsball - an MT studies for his certification, meets a crazy cosplayer, gets a snazzy suit, and eventually witnesses the most epic game of Sportsball in his life

Gaius follows the Geneva Conventions - in a battle of man against man, can a lonely Researcher survive and not get a bullet to the head by following the Geneva Conventions?

Battle Royale - when a round draws to a close and all humans are caged in a cramped room, will they remain civil, or will they turn to EORG for the lulz?

Project Shockwave - can you smoke a stim? How high can you get off Ultrazine? How fast can a CMO run? What is Project Shockwave? Some of those questions get answered

Lunar Academy of Science Alumnus - Researcher sucking up to the CL for some Ultrazine, and that same CL turning into a petty dealer by the round end

Gaius the Suit - first round as an aspiring corporate slave, dealing in implants and complaining to the high command about an MP

Four hour shuttle service - how long a PO can keep their sanity while doing transport rounds?

WY Scavenger Hunt - a corporate minion organises a scavenger hunt to find Marines dedicated enough to be hired by WY. At least one private is eager to participate!

Yeah, it's good to be able to capture some fun rounds, some memorable moments, and give people some reference material how to play some roles.

Prison comeback and ghost wallet - With half of the marine force dead and xenos 35 strong, can the Marines overcome the difficulty, all the while a wallet is being possessed by a ghost and harassing people on the Almayer?

War crimes and zombies - When faced with the CLF and a secret UPP operative, can he Researchers stop themselves from committing war crimes? What if the other side wants to commit their own war crimes? Who will go on trial for crimes against humanity first? Find out more about what happened in this thread.

Unconventional Science - How many monkeys does it take to develop chemical warfare? How many Dantes does it take to go through CMO's window? If you break into CL's office but no MP is there to see it, is it still a crime? All of those, and many other questions you didn't ask are answered right here! (2.5, 10 and yes)

Prison Speedrun - Can you rush the xenos so fast the admins decide to send ~50 AI xenos into Almayer to slow you down? The answer is yes.

Everyone is crazy on Almayer - How many crazy people can you fit on a single ship? Will a crazy tunnel creep get a therapy animal? Can a CL outrun death?

CL gets his specimen - Can you survive being yelled at by the Queen, stomped by the Crusher, tossed onto a Boiler puddle and blown up by a tank? Is a Deathsquad bodyguard and a ship of PMCs enough for a CL to secure a specimen? What terrible fetishes is a Predator holding in his private lodge?

The Command is incompetent - Between letting Marines geting intoxicated, Research injecting people with Mindbreaker, and a civilian being promoted to CE, will the CL get something from his scavenger hunt as he tries to find every trick in the book to break the game?

The Briefing Flasher - How many times do you need to use the Briefing Flasher to get everyone's attention? Can the serial flasher be stopped?

The CL-CMP tango - With the Almayer being understaffed, having only one MP and one MT, will the police ever find the time to investigate what the CL was up to, or will they dance an intricate dance of two vipers getting ready to kill one another before the end of the round?

Hail Science! - unfortunately, a lost episode where a Researcher prays to science to bring a dead kitten back. Description is still interesting!

Medbay hell - CMO nearly has a mental breakdown as everyone get on his nerves in medbay

Watching some predators - a crappy xeno start turns into a lengthy Predator observation round. Will they manage to slay the tank? Who will win in an honour duel over a lost hellhound? How many high-ranking humans does it take to put down two Drones in containment?

The hunger games - when Almayer explodes, how long can humanity hold off against endless hordes of xenos and infinite lag?

The Easter Synth - can a mute SL lead a squad? Can one tank hold Research? Where does that Synth get all of those chocolate eggs?

Payday! - a Squad Medic finds all sorts of fun stuff in the colony - floor pills, a metal heart, and something else that will net him his biggest payday yet!

The Command gets honked - who will prevail, a Marine with a clown mask, or a Commander with a metaba? Will Requisitions survive a deltard invasion? Will any survivors live long enough to see the mess resolved?

Everyone breaks the law - can a single MP stand against the tide of drugs, violence and OSHA violations? What will Requisitions do with a broad access to contraband and black market firearms?

Tank be rollin' - A 2:30 hour round turns into a 4 hour round thanks to the great tank duo killing xenos, so many xenos. Is overdrive overpowered, or are the shells just too good?

Hunter Games - chasing recent trends, CM turns into Battle Royale!

Promotion and robust doctors - an MT works hard and gets promoted due to his supervisor's incompetence. when the xenos attack, their greatest enemies will not be battle hardened Marines, but some very skilled Doctors...

The Trade Union Tribe - a Tribes round with a healthy dash of capitalism!

Health Inspection - how many synthmeatballs can you make before a health inspection is in order?

Deus vult - who will win in a fight, a perfect killing organism, or a band of Marines, armed with swords and powerloaders, eager to retake the holy land?

Lucky Carrier number 8 - experiencing the recent Drone and OB changes first hand!
