Great events you've seen

What's a great event or events you've seen happen on the server, those that are worthy of special note?

Additionally, what are your opinions on the standard event formulae (HvH, zombies, etc.) and how have they ended up for you?


My personal favorite I've unfortunately only observed was a massive basketball match between Xenos and Marines on LV.

The recent bad blood events where the predators and bad bloods are allowed to team up with other sides have all been extremely good.

I've made a gang of 5 marines as a bad blood to hunt other predators, it was really fucking fun. Even went up to the CIC to make a treaty and made a buddy called Cape Bro.

Haha what, I'm pretty sure I was the one negotiating that deal on Marine side.

it was a really minor event but I remember one time John Murry turned on his Specialist prefs for one single round and he managed to roll SADAR on his first try. he was given a special red headband by admins when the spec roll replaced his headband with the specialist headrag. it was great.

I've seen Dean spawn a monkey with a clown mask and then play an Ancient Larva named "HONK" from it, then he was leadered by the Queen. he was essentially unkillable. It was a hilarious xeno event.

Zombie events are ALWAYS fun if you aren't infected. Being a zombie sucks ass, being a human is a whole load of fun as you try to outrun and evade the zombie horde as they try mobbing you.

this, being zombie is terrible. You get shot a couple of times and get some slow down then its GG. You get crit and take 30 minutes to get back up, even then you don't fully heal so if you cant see you are still blind, if your limbs are messed up you are still slow and its 0 fun.

Back when the Almayer could be breached Marines had killed a predator and stashed his body somewhere in the Brig or CiC. Well after a failed boarding and retrieval attempt with Hellhounds the Elder Pred decided that he'd try a more diplomatic approach. After being allowed to ride the Alamo back up (While waiting he butchered a marine corpse) he was then escorted to the CIC but 20 some odd marines and the CO who presented him with the pred corpse.
The elder then detonated the dead predator and caused a breach in CiC while also killing everyone inside.
