Map development is superficially slower compared to last year but it seems randomization projects, attention to detail/unique art assets, and large-scale maps (Trijent Dam) are the reason for this. I would like to see a few smaller-focus maps come out to match this, maybe even some HvH focused maps along with a dedicated HvH gamemode. The standardization of Whiskey Outpost was a complete success in my opinion, and I think the standardization of other gamemodes is something we'll see in the next year, including maps that match their gameplay.
