So, I have a question. Do any of the food items do anything unique? Like Coffee or Hot Chocolate, or any of the snack vendor items (Bicard Bars, CHUNK, etc)? I'm just curious because the wiki doesn't say anything about them. Also, how do I refill empty injectors from the dropship? The quickguide mentioned it but I don't know how to.

Against my better judgement I decided to start making Youtube videos involving Colonial Marines. Channel

Hot coco does still warm you up, I think. Meaning that if you lose your coif on ice and you've got a hot coco you can chug it down to stave off freezing to death.
Coffee no longer gives you a speed bost anymore, I'm 99% sure. Too many people were trying to powergame it.
Tea still lowers toxin damage I think, it's quite a minor effect so I doubt that got removed.

As far as the rest of the food I'm pretty sure they don't have any tangible benefit, other than nutrients slowly healing you and replenishing lost blood.

To refill your injectors in the medivends (both on the DS and the regular vendors in medbay and on the colony):
1. Click and hold the expended injector sprite
2. Drag to the vendor sprite
3. Release, injector will be loaded into the vendor and refilled allowing you to vend it again.

This is how you restock all vendors, throw flares/nades down ladders or through holes, ect. Also, you don't have to be holding the injector, you can restock it if it's on the ground as long as the vendor is next to you. I hope they answers your questions :)

If you find any hot chili in the kitchen on ice colony it can provide a massive heat boost to stay like 5-10 minutes in the cold.

Hot Chocolate is a meal replacement, however it would take multiple drinks to equal a single meal.

another new thing is the Barcardine candy actually has a single unit of tramadol in them. yes it really will "make the pain go away"

Yes.

A pointblank Buckshot, aka Harm Intent with a direct click on the xeno sprite, will count as a melee attack, and will also ignore armor. So yeah, that's the gist with the whole stuff.

Best spots for runner/lurker/ravager to target with slash.
Groin.
Low armor, Organ Damage.
Bonus: If you deal enough damage organs medics cannot fix will break and the marine will take constant toxin damage.

Point is with relatively little damage you can force a marine to need medevac

groin has same armor as chest, devs have said this repeatedly

The so called "groin has less armor" is a massive meme. But still, nice Organ damage though

If we're talking about disabling the marines for capturing, then aim for feet/arms
If we're talking about straight up killing, Runners and Lurkers and young Ravs should aim at Chest/Groin; while Elite+ Ravs and Lurkers should aim at head.

Disclaimer: This is only anecdotal, but from what I've seen yes critted hosts take longer to burst whilst full health hosts can burst quite quickly if nested.

On that topic, larva grow faster in nests even when the host is dead so always leave infected hosts nested even after they die.

Does shooting longer streaks of napalm consume more fuel? How about cleaning one tile with space cleaner vs 3 tiles?

Fairly certain that flamer fuel converts to 1 unit fuel in tank to one tile on fire.

Space Cleaner spray bottle will only dispense between 5 and 10 units per spray, you can change from 10 to 5 by using the bottle in your hand. I haven't seen any situations where using 10 units in a spray changed anything.

Concerning space cleaner:
The 5 unit spray covers 1 tile
The 10 unit spray covers 3 tiles
If you want to be most efficient, you'd use the 10 unit spray for rows of dirty floors, whilst using the 5 unit spray for single tiles.
