Though I would have felt it more professional of you if you have discussed it with people who didn't like your responses instead of relying on the fact that mod manager says its good. (Not forming a negative opinion on this, so no need to defend)

Your Past: I was not around on forums and all earlier and just quietly played CM so no opinion. Though multiple accusations (could be false or true I don't really care) gives a little less good vibe.

We're a family here, lad, and we have to have each others backs. Regardless of what it was that you posted, I really don't like the fact that you posted something from slack to a public forum. While it was of course innocent, it's a rule that we don't break for very obvious reasons. And before anything is said about the innocence of post, I want to say that it's the principle and not any specific message. The rule exists for a reason.

1: Answer it myself. Tell mentors it's fine to deadmin or log off instead of going afk if they don't feel like doing their job, since they're not forced to do it every round

2: Scummy, but not infected so non issue. (Unless it is. Then the xeno should wait until the host proves a problem.)

5: Check to see who killed the PO. Warn them for improper escalation, and or ban - shouldn't be killing people for stopping them from murdering people. Depending on what the mod + mentor did, if I deemed it a rule break it's best left to their manager and not my judgement, so I would talk to them

6: Survivors are survivors and not rambo. It's not in their best interest to hunt xenos, rather stay away and defend themselves. Warn them for improper roleplay as a survivor, for the queen and them - I can't really do anything besides give them a frowny face.

7: Whitelists (Commander, synth, pred) are player report worthy and besides really really really blatant and obvious grief.

8: Slack ping, help them myself if I ain't so busy - moderators shouldn't be above mentoring

In general sleepy, you are a huge memer, who several times seem to discredit staff in discord and ask for them to be ignored, though that is a problem I don’t think it’ll be a thing if you are let back into staff. As from what I expect you’ll bring up concerns to higher ups rather than tell people to be ignored.

The slack leaking thing I don’t have a huge problem with mostly due to the only thing being leaked as something that was already given out and you honestly can only blame staff for telling you information when they shouldn’t be.
Aka. I can’t blame you that staff decide to leak to you because they are bad staff members.

Now onto you being removed from staff previously and why I’m going to approve to you rejoining.
#1 feweh was involved and I strongly dislike that guy. I was someone who luckily helped him get removed and from what I know you attempted to do that previously which is what got you removed by ‘taking the fall’
#2 I’m always down for second chances for people.
#3 You got removed as a mod and this is a trial mod period. You’ll be watched and any issues can be ironed out or you’ll be removed as per usual.

I have three major issues with this app. I hope you can adress them and underatand my viewpoint.

1. It has been mentioned you shared/leaked information from staff chat. Even though it was "public" already you still spread it. That accusation hurts your case pretty bad. It is not just that mention but also that I know of at least 2 times staff info was leaked to you. The exact example I can give is you knowing who the seniors were when only the staff was told. Players had not been told yet. The other incident I rather not mention as doing so would likely piss off the devs. Next one other player who has had info leaked to you did a +1 on your app the first one in months they spoke out on.

2. This app has everything I dislike the staff doing. They are already letting you get away with more then a normal player would and their +1's sometimes dont even add something. I asked them why and I still only got a reply saying nothing imo. It is not just the app that smells low effort but even many staff replies.

3. I do not want to ask exactly why you were removed. But I did search on the forums and found an accusation of you trying to blackmail the heads of staff? I dont want to be looking into it to deep because I was not there and did not see it first hand. But all heads at the time rahl/bmc have been gone a week and you make this app. To me that seems as if you knew/thought they would never hire you.

Most staff including myself knowing the good that ElDefaultio has done for the community don't need to snypehunter.exe this application, but merely show our support for the applicant. Call it shitposting if you want, merely just the expression that Eldefaultio is not a normal player, but rather an excellent ex-staff member in many people's opinions (not all).

Being blunt, I’ve never leaked anything publicly until the point where I as a person was attacked in ways that I would never, ever encourage. I also believe those involved were talked to.

Don’t blame the leaker - like Aceluke so wisely put. If you want me to +1 or -1 more apps, I will. I also haven’t leaked anything else sense then, nor prior. I +1’ed because I’m hopeful with the current staff team the environment can move towards a more community driven/focused one rather than Us vs. Them. Sleepy doesn’t break the rules. He enforced them upon a close friend. I don’t see why you wouldn’t want someone like that on your team.

You WANT a diverse staff team, it’s checks and balances that keep things from going sour. If everyone on a staff can keep their disagreements and discussions to the proper areas (outside of the public eye) you all benefit. Hearing other points of view is crucial to growth.

First off, Sleepy might come off as abrasive and blunt but that is not a bad thing. The one Redeeming quality for me when I think about Sleepy is that where I would think some of the current admins I think are a bit soft, I could see Sleepy being more proactive than said Admins/Mods as I genuinely believe he cares about the player base more than them. So the Choice is quite obvious.

Retired staff generally have lax requirements given they know how it works, if I'm correct, which is why i didn't go into excessive details for each question. Given that the application is used to show they already have a grasp on how procedure and rules work, it didn't seem extremely necessary for me to do so - as I showed I had a grasp on the procedures, as I was a mod for around half a year. The questions aren't inherently inaccurate, they're all technically correct - you can see I put more detail into the other questions given by Donkified, as they are non standard questions. With the standard questions, they are cookie cutter and done to death, they show the person answer them nothing, since you can copy successful apps. I'll say thanks for the input, but as with the other people who said they were low effort/not enough detail, I would like to ask what exactly is missing from this application. No one has told me what is wrong besides giving me an answer I cannot act upon, besides Neth who told me to cover more scenarios with each question.

Sleepy's a good mod, Show'ed me a couple of the ropes when i was a tmod then quit staff for reasons and continued to show me some ropes as a moderator regardless, Came back, Stuff happened, Got fired for what i'm just gonna assume was gross incompetence or bending the laws of powersliding too much and is now applying again.

Each person in each screenshot eventually went and told SLC or whomever that they had leaked, after I had talked to them about it. I did not tell SLC outright who it was, but what had happened, because I personally believe someone will not change if I rat them out. SLC can confirm this, and the people who had talked to SLC about these things, but I doubt they will respond due to the 'shame' of having done so, and I will not fault them for that.

Let's have some real talk, it's obvious that what ever leaks sleepy has gotten means that certain members of staff trust him more than others.

Is that a bad thing? No and yes. I feel leaks will happen in any community it happens, you can't make everyone happy.

Though it also shows that we as staff need to be brothers and sisters to each other.

I love sleepy. He real talks like a lot of staff we have.

Still believe that leaks are bad but also good, it shows that we're not a group of staff that dislike the player base, but a group that has a divide that can be made stronger.

Sleepy is a upstanding guy, and shows that even after he left staff that a lot of staff members still love him.

No matter what your disagreement is with him being staff, I understand it, but Sleepy is a great member of the community even with memes. Though let's not forget when he was a mod what he did to help the community.

Sleepy can be crude yet still honest and straight forward about things. Thats a plus in my opinion as it clears things out and leves little room for misunderstandings.

Still, i do believe that their judgement has always been sensible and even fair. They were a moderator once and I would can say they could still do the same good work.

I have no insight as far as other issues go, but I believe that sleepy would make for capable staff. Its up to the current moderators and staff to accept you now I suppose.

After a personal and intimate conversation with Defaultio, we are going to accept him as a Trial Mod.

In that conversation I addressed many of the concerns voiced here, and we came to the conclusion that we will not have any problems as far as those are concerned.
