Description of the incident:i was Staff officer and i was using the overwatch console when the bravo sl got captured i saw the position of the xeno hive soo i runned to Co console to advise marines but the co already used the annoucement system so i was waiting when the AS was ready i put THE ENEMY HIVE IS INSIDE LAMBDA(i was aware about that because the marines said something about a hive) USE EXPLOSIVE MARINES and the co arrested me with 14 minutes just for that

I was the aforementioned Commanding Officer, Cyrus Ambrose, during this round. For reference, the above mentioned time is the end of the round, for if logs need to be pulled.

At the time of ordering their arrest, I believe that was around the time that I was dealing with threats of mutiny, if not right before it, so I wasn't exactly in the mood to tae a lot of shit, and that was a low bar to begin with considering the issues Delta had been giving me throughout the round. As I was typing an order announcement to give a full retreat to LZ-1 Forward Operating Base, I see that order come up that encourages the marines to do the exact opposite of what I was about to order, something I can't refute for a full minute, plus the time it takes to type out the new announcement, which translates into even more lost time in consideration of time for transit.

Earlier in the round, Lieutenant Robert Horus, the reporting Bravo Overwatch Staff Officer, had been acting just this side of full low-roleplay and was another instance short of receiving an order for a Hooliganism charge, since they had dropped out around two dozen cigarette butts, trashing their corner of the Bridge, and were riding around their corner with a fire extinguisher propulsion while strapped into their chair. In consideration of this, and the instance at the time, I ordered Staff Sergeant Alan Jones, the only Military Police still on the vessel due to all the others being deployed to deal with chaos from Delta, to come arrest them for Neglect of Duty by way of committing a lesser crime as an officer (arguable between Improper Equipment Usage, Insubordination, the aforementioned Hooliganism charge, take your pick).

You said it yourself. He was punished in game via mutiny. Ill talk to staff about whether logs need to be pulled but honestly i dont even see where your complaint is? That the CO ordered the arrest of a marine (LT or not you are his subordinate and he is the only one who CAN actually get you charged)? He is fully within his rights to do so. If the MP disagreed with the charge they could have said so but it appears to not have been unlawful by any means.

Thank you for pulling the logs. As I see it, there is no rule break here by Novus, the CO is permitted to have anyone under his command arrested by the MPs (still liable to be arrested for prevertification if it is a false charge). There was a valid reason as the lieutenant effectively undermined his command of the situation. Unless anyone has anything else to add I shall forward this up to the head team.

Not sure why you're reporting this. Literally one IC issue. If anything, YOU should be happy that you managed to avoid a lowrp ban. I'm sure there won't be such leniency next time.
