Preds able to blow up infected

Bug Description: In a recent round I had, I was a predator who, after getting much too cocky, got ambushed by a hugger and shamefully infected. As the aliens dragged me to their hiding place, I refused to accept such a fate. I had to regain my honor somehow, so I called out for help, hoping a fellow pred could help me before I burst.

As I waited, I stared at my big red button, and... Out of curiosity, I decided to see just what would happen if I did try to blow my bracer. It is said that for whatever reason, you are denied the ability to self-destruct if infected. Yet, when I did press it, instead of getting denied, it.. .Worked?


Steps to reproduce:
1. Get infected as a predator
2. As soon as you are awake, try to blow your bracer
3. listen as the bracers begin to beep, and then you shortly explode per normal.

Yeah, I was there to see this one. It was a bit odd.

I was also there, I personally infected the pred and heard they couldn't blow up, mind boggling.

I witnessed this, me and reno were hunting when the queen and her vanguard appeared, the screech stunned us, reno got his mask knocked off, and a timely drone slapped a hugger on his face and dragged him away. I died trying to get reno back, but there was no question he was infected.
