Change Bicard 5u Pills To 10u

Summary: Change the round start Bicard pills to 10 units per pill instead of 5 units.

Benefits: 5 units is woefully insufficient for the amount of damage marines will sustain in combat, most medics need to expend time forcing two or three pills into one person to get a decent result.

Its tedious and annoying having to force feed a lot of bicard pills to a person and Doctors are begged to expend time making 15u or 10u bicard pills in large quantities. This would be a good QOL change for Medics since they can focus more on healing and less on stuffing pills in and save Doctors time making good Bicard pills.

Hearty +1. For a strong drug like Bicardine you shouldn't have to shove a handful of pills down someone's throat. And if the argument against it is 'What if its only a little bit of damage?' Well you shouldn't be using bloody Bicardine then, should you?

Yeah... If a happy medium is needed, perhaps nerf the Kelotane to 10u if buffing Bic to 10u is viewed as too much of a buff. Realistically, on an average Medic round I burn through 300-400u of Bic when near the front lines. Generally only able to accomplish this with big bic or taking 4-5 bottles of pills, and I use a hypo for Bic to ensure I don't give more than necessary.

Plus this avoids breaking Marine Law since MP's will take you down for that stuff.

I've had MP's break into the chemistry lab to confiscate 20u Bicard medication and arrest the Chemist before.

Doctors can create anything that's not Space Drugs for intra-department use. They just can't distribute to other crew/medics. Technically you violated Marine Law.

No, I was the medical researcher that they almost grabbed for unauthorized distribution of chemicals (even though I didn't make them). I managed to convince them that production =/= distribution but they wouldn't bcak off until the WO told them to leave. Personally, I just think that they were trying to invent reasons for arrests but no harm done in the end.

Anyway, I don't think that this would be too harmful. 9/10 medics will get Bigcaridine from the chemist anyway.

Drug Use is a law, and means you can't consume anything that isn't authorized.

Pills made from chemistry that aren't authorized falls under Drug Use if consumed or used on others.

But bicardine bottles from WeylandMeds used by DOCTORS is fine.

Trading 5u off of Kelo for a +5u to Bicard feels fair to me.

It's always felt odd to me that the two main single damage healing pills would be different sizes. Felt even weirder that the one your going to be using most often would be so seemingly pointlessly small.

If it wasn't for Bicard stacking with Tri I wouldn't even bring any because of how annoying feeding 2-3 pills to get reasonable results is. In my eyes its better auto inject someone with tri if the damage is that low. Or let passive healing from using an Advanced Brute kit heal them.

+ Dylovene is standard 25u (I ended up ODing accidentally because I assumed like all the other pills it was 5u) yet when the hell do we ever need to treat toxin damage on this server. Meanwhile bicardine comes in wimpy 5u doses, I think at least 10 should be standard; you still can't OD on 2 pills that way either
