Having metal / plastisteel and standing still in general already paints a huge target on your head.

Its screaming "I am more focused on doing anything BUT fighting xenos, please pounce and infect me" 90% of the time. Only good engis can both pay attention to the battlefield AND build at the same time.

This place would be so much better if marines were replaced with cyborgs, atleast those would follow orders. assuming there was a rule forcing them to do so...

To add onto this, i had the thought that if you are welding, to have the player generate a small amount of sparks, the same as when using the igniter, every few seconds. This gives a nice visual cue/ambience to those around you, as well as having the sounds of welding taking place. Really slick stuff!

Getting shoved around as a combat engineer pissed me off so i don't even touch the role now. I been in cases where i'm trying to build the sentry and woopty fucking do xenos are on top of us since i was shoved around to much. Would be happy if to return if they implement something to let others know we're working our butts off.

This is a very needed change...

People always give engineers bad times by pushing them.

Yes please as someone who plays engineer a lot it's annoying as hell to be shoved. +1

Just make it like a little progress bar like some other servers have or maybe a tiny wrench symbol? Similiar to a medhud, so you know that engi is working their ass off and not standing still for the fun of it.

This is likewise where bramb began saying he lives in albania. They additionally continued pinging me with the albanian banner. They called me female. They called me gay. They said I have down disorder. They called me different names too. Also, bramb said he lives in albania when he professes to live in The Netherlands too. Lying again.

Please, let this be a thing.

I had a round where I could barely get shit done because people kept pushing me around. Having an icon of sorts would be nice to show people that you are busy and do not wish to be shoved about.

+1. One less macro for me to set to yell at people to not push me when i'm building.

Or better yet, grant the person who's doing construction work temporary immunity from being pushed around by reusing similar code from Xenos.
