I like to believe it is common practice among the medical personnel of the USS Almayer to be wary of my supernatural ability to become injured. My mother always said I was a clumsy child, a habit I have been unable to lose throughout my adult life. Though she is kind, she is a serious individual who engrosses herself in her work; I do not envy those stupid enough to stand between her and her patients. Still, she has treated my wounds so many times that I fear she is more familiar with my innards than my outards!
