How to kill yourself

Now you might think this is a meme thread or something but I am completely serious. Not enough people understand how to kill themselves. I sit there and watch them do this and literally hurts my head.

So I will list this is easy to understand steps for different ways to kill yourself.

Step one: Aim for your mouth.

Whether you are using a knife or gun you are gonna want to aim for your mouth for this to be most effective.

Step two: If using a gun then click on the fire icon so that it is now an aim icon.

This let's you put your gun in your mouth so that you will die no matter what. If the code is still the same then this applies to tazer guns too.

Step three: Fire/start cutting yourself.

Now you simply click on yourself until dead.

Now, I am in no way trying to advocate killing yourself (In the game is what I am referring to), but if you are in the situation where you need to do so then this is how you should probably do it as it is how an actual marine would do it. See Full Metal Jacket. I would go more in depth into how it is done in real life but it is a pretty morbid topic so I will refrain from doing that.

If you're a medic, stick yourself with multiple QC injectors.
If you're an engineer/spec, place C4 onto yourself (slow setup, fast death) or activate a grenade in your hand (fast setup, slow death).
If you're a squad leader, activate an OB and ask for it to be called in.
If you're an officer, drink yourself to death.

Grenades dont work, only feasible reason for suicide on most rounds is that you have knowledge on aliens bursting somehow and you are infected. Multiple occasions where I've successfully broken out, juked xenos and triggered frag, HE, and ICGs and only ever managed to shatter bones and go deaf, one time I did kill a xeno but thats about it, you don't die. Worst thing is with the latter Incendiary grenade, its down entirely to how quick the xenos pull you out of the fire or if you can stay in the fire long enough to move about a few times immolating yourself and not simply just damaging you. Once you yourself are on fire, its a personal GG.

Here's a faster way for cool kids: turn harm intent on, aim for the head, click on your chatacter untill he's dead.

You will also get bonus points for using buckshot / AP bullets without having your helmet on you.

I've had this fail in some cases, if you got a high caliber gun or no helmet, then it is likely guaranteed to work. However, if you don't, then this can be rather unreliable and just render you pain critted until you bleed out or get killed by something.

Still better than having to stand in one place for ~ 6 seconds, IMO.
Plus, if you're nested and infected, your dont have your helmet on you in 90% of the time.

Why would you do that when if you have a gun you can guarantee yourself to be dead after 4 clicks max?

Like I said putting a gun in your mouth kills you no matter what as long as you have ammo. In fact it was so robust that it used to kill you with a cap gun on bay, but they removed that.

The best way to kill yourself is simply walk infront of a marine using AP rounds.
