We won't remove/jobban CLs for not contacing W-Y before going down, they have free reign themselves. Only thing that would be questionable if they were fighting at the front with the marines.
Otherwise, looking forward to this guide.

The real way to play liaison is to walk around the ship aimlessly for abit after saying hello to the command staff and sending a fax to W-Y, then fall into a depression and drink an entire bottle of sake, then spend the rest of the round in your quarters sleeping or babbling nonsense to yourself.

That and make fun of marines over medical radio while you're both bored out of your skulls in the first hour before the casulties start coming up.

I thought that the only way to play CL is gardening with your golden apple seeds and bug/pay the marines to bring you more seeds or the doctor to give you ammonia bottles ?

Good guide overall, but just remember you can play CL however you want you don't -need- to try and be an antag

You can be nice and try to send faxes asking for PMC support for marines

Expect 90% of Fax's to be at least glanced at by staff for a couple seconds, and expect at least 98% of Fax's to be ignored. If you play for the chance at an antagonist role or for the Fax's, you are playing the role wrong. You really need to be able to make your own fun, and as said before, your job is more or less to be a Corporate Asshole. You don't have to be an enemy to the Marines, but don't feel like you have to be their buddies either.

Generally be chill, make paperwork, have a superiority complex, and RP.

if the guide wasn't MOBILE-FRIENDLY, it should now- (not tested, let me know if its rendered properly)

Also the Guide is complete, I'll only be adding Paperwork once in a while...

Make sure to don't burn the paper unless it is really important! Staff can't read faxes that don't have the original paper. Keep it hidden in a folder so we can read the Love Letter fax you sent.

After dozens of rounds as CL I have finely crafted my wise words for young CL's wishing to learn the craft.

Good CL's always! Flirt with the ladies! (Finger Guns Mandatory, No Thots allowed.) Hand out booze to try and sway people towards seeing things W-Y's way! Cheers on the troops! The harder they work the more money W-Y saves. Doesn't step down to anything less then life threatening danger! Because fuck looking like a pussy, up until not looking like a pussy equals death. If you play a CL that goes down with the ship instead of evacing if you have the chance your a bad CL. (You're an RP character not rambo. Get the fuck out of there!) Take's pictures of anything spooky or sketchy! You get get some solid RP out of just a few photo's. Record anything and everything the colonists say to you during an interview! Shit, record anything and everything anyone ever says to you. Keep the recorder in your pocket so no one can see or know.

Good CL's also remind the marines that What's good for the company has never been bad for them. Sublty remind the marines that most of their hate for the company is usually OOC (BULLSHIT) info that they're prolly getting from the movies or past rounds where rarely something does happen and the company comes and fucks something up.
ICly marines should generally view the CL as more of an annoying desk worker then some "Big bad gonna try and take over the ship with a PMC death squid." At the same time CL's also have to stay within their IC character. Your just a paper pusher, your not some assassin or sleeper agent just waiting for the marine command to make One Single Fuck Up just to fax about it and try and get someone killed for it. No one's gonna answer those faxes anyway and your just gonna get made fun of in staff chat.

Here are my fantastic Paperwork contributions:

Secondary Objective: Stay Safe, Stick Together, Kick the ass of anything that might need an ass kicking. If you find any booze bring it up to CIC for me please.

Always push non-disclosure agreements to the CO or XO to preserve WY's integrity and to generate hate. Sometimes you get a fax asking you to cover all the events that transpired, only to find that the Commander has faxed HC 5 times already.
Also, if you can write long texts cohesivly, try putting hidden terms on your agreements. Most of the CIC staff is too busy to read through all those lines of text you wrote, and might sign a paper that, while appearing to be a simple non-disclosure agreement, also makes the CIC staff your slaves. But that's just a thought

Make friends with all the MPs, that way when the commander breaks the "Minimize Collateral Damage" agreement he signed, you can storm the bridge with two MPs guns drawn and demand his resignation!

That was my favorite CL round...

Sounds like mutiny.

Remember, your power lies in your influence and ability to contact Weyland-Yutani and High Command via fax. Overt actions and threats against the commander may quickly result in a retort chambered in .454
I used to play Luke Compton. Now I play Reginald Dempsey.

The CL is a highly RP'ed, so don´t just ask for mercs or spam the HC
