As a medic there are few main types of damages and here, you'll learn how to treat and diagnose them;

First of all use your HF2 Analyzer to check for Damage,

∎ Brute Damage
It's the main type of damage and to treat it, you'll have to use a Roll of Gauze and an Advanced Trauma Kit plus Bicaridine if in heavy amounts;
Broken Bones may cause more Brute Damage and Organ Damage if left untreated, if any broken brones are present try to splint the affected area,
with the assistance of your HF2 analyzer or your patient if conscious.

∎ Burn Damage

It's the 2nd Most common type of damage mostly caused by Acid/Fire/Cold/Shock;
it's treated with a Roll of Gauze and an Advanced Burn Kit plus Kelotane/Dermaline if in heavy amounts.

∎ Toxin Damage
It's a pretty common type of damage, and is mainly caused by organ damage/overdose or Stage 2-3 Infections, to treat it you'll have to use Dylovene;
If Organs are damaged use Peridaxon (Stops damage from Damaged Organs) with Dylovene (Treats Toxin Damage),
and send them back to get surgery.

∎ Oxygen Damage
It's a very common type of damage, mostly caused by an heavy blood loss or ruptured lungs/heart to treat it you'll have to administer Dexaline;
If caused by an Heavy Blood Loss feed him until he explodes otherwise use an IV Drip plus administer QuickClot (Stops Blood Loss),
if caused by ruptured lungs/heart administer Peridaxon (Stops damage from Damaged Organs) and send him back for surgery.

∎ Brain Damage
It's a very rare type of damage, but in case you encounter it, it's mainly caused by an head trauma or Tricoradzine Overdose;
To Treat it administer Alkysine or send him back if you don't have it.

So, as a Squad Medic there are many things you should be or not be doing, plus some tips..

Do's

• Heal marines.
• Move Marines away from other medics when treating them.
• Always tell in the medical channel when you need to MEDEVAC someone, it helps POs and you.
• Heal marines in the backline away from crewies and friendly fire.
• Notify Medical when wounded marines are coming up.

Don'ts
• Overdose Marines and lead them to a painful death
• Fight in the frontline and ignore your main objective.

Tips

• MedEvacs don't work underground.
• Triage when you have spare time.
• If wounds are left untreated an infection might develope.
• light infections can be treated by just healing the area.
• Slow toxin buildup equals to damaged Liver. -SwirlyKins
• If oxygen damage shows up, the subject may have damaged lungs/heart or lost a lot of blood.-SwirlyKins
• Always keep your defib on -MattAtlas/Lyla Bennett
• Just don't medevac in dumb places -Omicega

Have we been bamboozled?

I would put a part that talks about finding out the small details that might indicate organ damage. First couple times playing medic I had no idea how to identify organ damage. (Stuff like slow toxin buildup = damaged liver, or oxygen damage = possible lung/heart damage)

I suggest instead of going with two medical pouches, go with one pouch and one medkit pouch. If need be you can empty out a medkit and fill it with whatever supplies you need. Your medical belt already carries the supplies you have in the pouch, so they're already easy access. The medkit serves as 6-7(Can't remember the slots) extra pill bottles, injectors or whatever you like, instead of the pouches 3.

I recommend medics to go with Gyro and Magnetic Harness shotgun with a macro bind, but that's a personal preference.

You could also highlight the mentioned medicine/kits for treating each damage type, so it's easier to spot for someone looking at it while playing.

Great stuff, keep it up! I really like the guide layout.
I have a few whitelists and a few characters...

A tip for not having to fumble around with pill bottles. You can click drag pill bottles onto your sprite instead of taking them or of your pouch and switching hands and putting it back.

Fully agreed. The medkits give 7 slots, and there are only four pouches of each kind for four medics. If you take two you are leaving a medic without a pouch.

My personal loadout is the following:
Webbing: 3 stasis bags.
Armor: 2 handful of shotgun shells.
Medical pouch: health scanner, bicard and kelo pill bottles.
Medkit pouch: dylo, dexalin and antibiotic pill bottles (less frequently used), plus tramadol, kelotane and bicard pill bottles (spare). You have space for something else, can be another pill bottle, a custom med from chemistry, another stasis bag...
Lifesaver bag: Inaprov, quick clot, peridaxon and tramadol pill bottles. 4x burn kits, 6x splints, 7x trauma kits.
Backpack: Defib, stretcher and roller bed. There's room for an optional extra medkit (for spare supplies), and/or a shotgun box for extra ammo. Or whatever you want to take.
Helmet: 2 protein or EAT bars.

Quick tips:
[*]There are no reasons not to ditch all ointments and bandages in favor of advanced kits.
[*]Trauma kits are more used than burn kits, since they are important to stop bleeding.
[*]Set the scanner to display the info on the hud. It's much better.
[*]Auto-injectors use up too much space, are one-use before you have to refill them, and either have the same amount of chems as a pill or less. The only two that may make any sense to carry, if chemistry hasn't given you such pills, are oxy and dex plus. For the rest, favor pill bottles.
[*]Carry stasis bags in your armor, webbing or a medkit. They take too much space in your backpack.
[*]Radiation pills (Russian Red) are usually useless. Even if you find an irradiated patient (very rare) you can just give them dylovene and that will keep it in check for a long time. Each pill has a lot of dylo in it. 25, if my memory serves me right.
[*]Be careful of administering dylovene and inaprovaline pills on the same patient. Both contain large quantities and will mix in the patient's blood, giving them a tricordrazine OD.
[*]Dexalin plus is very good to keep someone alive, but inaprovaline+dexalin can do the same job quite well.

Good guide, in my opinion putting the health analyzer in medical pouch make you slow or unless you have any macros that would be more easier. As a main bravo medic I put my health analyzer in my pocket so I can click it immediately without opening my medical pouch. Since I heal almost 30 or 50+ marines per round I gotta bought 1 bicardine, tramadol and kelotane and 3 splints then 1 advanced first kit since there is enough advance trauma and burn kit already. And my weapon I don't usually use a gun only machete since I focus more healing wounded marines.
