Description of the incident:

I was an engineer in LV-625 and acidentally i flamed myself, then Andrii alpha SG started shooting me activating lethal mode in the process. after that I got revived and i saw Andrii i told him that he was a fucker and started punching him, he in return started shooting me in lethal mode and almost kill me. TDLR andrii shot me twice and manage to kill me once, and it wasnt FF cuz he activated lethal mode

Pablo was attempting to use a flamer to aid in marines fighting, and accidently flamed Andrii.

Andrii, angry, turns off IFF to shoot Pablo for the incident.

Andrii shoots Pablo to death.

Andrii admitting killing Pablo.

Pablo A-Helps the situation.

Pablo now (now revived) Comes back and punches Andrii. Andrii immediately returns fire.

Pablo uses his flame thrower to fight back lighting Andrii on fire, Andrii returns fire and finishes off Pablo...

Rule 10: Lethal Force
Do not attack another player without a legitimate, explainable roleplay reason that could be applied in a similar, real-life scenario. A fist fight does not suddenly escalate into a gun fight.

Proper Escalation consists of:
Fists/General Melee
Knives/Dangerous Melee
Lethal Weapons

Should one defend themselves from grief or improper escalation, the staff handling the matter decides if a punishment is given out and to who.

The accident with the sentry was unfortunate, but accidental Friendly Fire in CM is a common occurrence, and generally not an acceptable reason for Escalation. We do make every effort to review to make sure that accidentally friendly fire is actually accidental- and while we have limits to what we are able to review, I don't see anything to suggest this was done intentionally.

The second incident is a very simple case of Improper Escalation.

As the player doesn't have any previous notes for IE, this will result in a note being added that is a WARNING for IE.

Please be advised that if you feel you have been griefed, or that someone has improperly escalated a conflict with you in game, you should ahelp and let staff take a look at the situation. Please also note that future incidents may result in a job or server ban.
