Just played sniper recently in prison and instead of wasting time trying to gather muh KDR I pushed boilers back by simply just mixing an incendiary bullet to be fired first and then loaded them up with flaks after. We got up to residences and some of the boilers died on the way.
Honestly? It all depends on specialists whether they are willing to play support and take initiative, or just to fuck off and have a fun time on their own.
Everything can be countered, but the problem is the fact that marine players never cooperate enough.
Not this bullshit again. Two defenders and your puny sniper bullets zucc ainis. First takes first few shoots, then at 50% goes few tiles away and then drops and rolls. Second defender stands still and he is getting extinguished via boiler spray till the first one is heals and goes back to defend. The truth is one Ancient defender could accomplish the same thing. How much incendiary bullets can you get? Few mags? Oh boiii, you just wasted them on one boiler + defender combo and there is MANY MORE chokepoints on every map. Whole Prison is a chokepoint. This is why CBT is bad, because whole marine army is stopped by few benos, because it's a chokepoint. And because it is chokepoint, even if Marine players would share IRL hivemind, only few marines can fit in a chokepoint, that's the definition of a chokepoint, small confined space that can be filled full with gas. Then there is Preatorian who has gas of his own, then there is rav who shoots shrapnel between each gas shoots.

Oh, yes, defender guarding the boiler is a wild idea, nobody ever tried before and there is 1000 ways to counter it. Maybe I should help that sniper by pushing the boiler that wasn't hit, because defender took a bullet for him, so after my rush, gas flies behind me and closes the way, I either stay and die to FF/Benos, or go back and die to gas/stun that gas gave me.

Yes, they ignore whole post and only concentrate on one specific thing. They also don't get that writing "Guess what? Game isn't about You. Wake up, there are people who are more robust than you are and they see the CBT problem, where your own ego covers it from you.
