Incorrect, I enjoy the brutal nature of the combat, but I have accepted that you cannot roleplay due to the brutality of the combat. So I roleplay as an expendable retard.

I roleplay on the front all the time. Obviously when Xenos are breaching and you're running for your life you can't roleplay, but there's no reason you can't backup a screen while there's a clusterfuck going on at the frontline and roleplay. There's almost always marines milling behind the front healing up or building foritifcations. What's gonna happen, a runner will naruto run around a bit and spook you by hitting you once with their claw and running away?

Listen, I don't care if most marines don't MRP in the server. If you don't play it for that, that's fine. Just don't detract from MY MRP by spamming memes and copypastas and making a mockery of the whole thing. And if you're a RP heavy role like CO or CL, then live up to the standard.

First and second seem fine, third is questionable but being sent out in an evac pod with no clear destination borders on a death sentence either way.

That's what anyone will do if you are at the LZ or at a FOB, if they have even a little bit of robustness about them. That's what I do, I roleplay and joke around with people in a way that makes sense for my character. Just rewatch Aliens if you need to see how the average marine should act, then look at how the average marine roleplays in-game.

And no, with the average skill level of marines being so low, it is entirely possible to have a single runner or lurker tackle you once and drag you off if you are only a few tiles away from the cade line.

There's a majority of the staff that won't say it including developers. Why, I have no idea.
