Yesterday, I think I saw the same poor bastard get arrested several rounds in a row for birthday-suiting on the drop ship. Wish I could get a printout of tonight’s rounds. It all happened so fast on the last round I played, but it’s the biggest roll I’ve been on so far, even if it started off rocky... Rolled Engineer... for Delta. I got a shotgun, stole the SL’s flamer after he was arrested for being Delta SL (I think). Followed the SL, after he was repromoted, into the DS, where we all threatened to burn the PO in the cockpit if he didn’t launch. We zerg rushed the east caves and pushed north, I took two steps in and got hit with a boiler rail gun shot to my face. Heart stopped. Lost the incinerator. Then the revival.

But I still had the shotgun, and through the white haze of being freshly revived, I saw an apparition. Bill Wilkerson. He was running around in shorts, boots & a shotgun. I felt... divinely inspired and charged right through a boiler chokepoint. I PB murdered that boiler’s fortified defender, much to their mutual surprise, I think. I started to pull back due to getting a few facefulls of neurotoxic spit in my eyes, but then I saw a drone had the audacity to start reweeding behind me. So I ran up to him and PB murdered him as well. By that point I was completely blind and dropping constantly from neurotoxin, but I made my way back to a medic while in soft crit. Then a runner came in and mauled my medic. So I PB’d his ass too. I was feeling pretty damn invincible, so I charged a Ravager, who promptly disarmed me... like cut my arm off. But damn that was fun. Me and two other guys who’d also had their arms removed by that same bastard Ravager walked back to the DS. The only reason we didn’t stay to fight is because we couldn’t reload our damn guns. damn that round was fun.
